About Aadyam Theatre:
Aadyam Theatre is back for its 7th season! This initiative by the Aditya Birla Group to grow and nourish the theatre scene in India has returned with a curation of diverse plays and unique experiences — all so that audiences can visit stories and worlds that will captivate them.
Set across four nights of a liminal haze when the sun never fully sets and the night is never dark, Chandni Raatein follows the intertwined lives of a man and a woman who meet at the brink of their own darkness. They become each other’s light, offering moments of hope, joy, and connection. But as the story unfolds, we realise their narrative is far more complex.
Through shifting perspectives - of the deewana, his deewani, the man she yearns for, and a silent observer who knows more than anyone - the story reveals layers of love, longing, and the unexpected twists of fate.
With its fresh perspective and innovative storytelling of this classic tale, Chandni Raatein ensures that this version of White Nights will linger in your heart long after the curtain falls. Each perspective switch offers a new lens, challenging what we think we know about the story and its ending.
Whose version of those four white nights is accurate? Did the love story end in the way we thought it did? Or was it always meant to unfold differently?
Purva Naresh’s vivid adaptation brings fresh energy to the original White Nights, with music, dance, and an Indo-Russian fusion creating a visually stunning and deeply moving experience.
