15 years after the brutal events of February 2020 in Delhi, a nation reckons with the truth of what really happened. In parallel, there is the urgent matter of 72 arrested goats and an unfolding conspiracy.

About Qabila:
Qabila is a Bangalore based theatre group, with Nisha Abdulla as Artistic Director. Formed in 2018, we work with new writing and stories that visibilise the lived experience of the marginalized body. Currently, Qabila has two productions on tour – wepushthesky (a solo performance that explores the listening body as a site of political resistance and how long is february? a fantasy in three parts (a digital play about the pursuit of justice for victims of the pogrom in Delhi, in 2020. Official selection at International Theatre Festival of Kerala, ITFOK ). Previous works include Ashk Neele Hain Mere (long listed for Hindu Playwright Award in 2017), Orchestra on the Moon (an experiment in movement and text), and Koottu (a non-verbal children’s play that used object, sound, rhythm and movement to explore differences in the classroom). About the Playwright-Director
NISHA ABDULLA is a Bangalore based theatremaker practicing as playwright, director, dramaturg, and educator. She is the Artistic Director of Qabila, where her work centers new writing, the dissenting imagination, and shared futures. And founder member of OffStream, an initiative that supports artists across practices in creating anti-caste art.
