The actor's job is to bring the scripted character to life.

From getting the "character" to getting into it requires a process.

This workshop is just that.

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE

A Story will be given to all the participants to read and understand it thoroughly before the workshop begins. During the course of the workshop we will focus on one of the prime character of the story and we will try to learn how to extract the character from the story & how to get into it as an actor.

Apart from this, getting into a character requires a process and hence i have divided this process into three categories, each day is dedicated to one of the three which are as follows:

DAY ONE - LOOSEN UP

What stops an actor from getting into the character? The actor himself. So, on the first day let's loosen up all the inhibitions that are stopping you from getting into the character.

DAY TWO - PICK UP

Once we drop what is not required, let's learn what is a character and what we needs to pick from our surroundings and from people around us that will help us in understanding the character better. 

DAY THREE - BECOMING THE CHARACTER 

Since you've overcome the hurdles, now it's time for you to know what your character is. So, let's get into the final step of becoming the character, mentally and physically.
