What will you learn:

This will be a two days guided classroom like interactive online painting workshop.

Day 1:

In this workshop you will be introduced to working with acrylic colors, medium of painting, difference between acrylics and other form of paints.Basic color mixing technique on palette and on canvas. Introduction on strokes used in flat and round brush.

How to use mop brush to blend the colors and finally we will jump to the main painting planned for the day.

We will complete one layer of the painting and review each of the artworks and conclude Day 1 session.

Day 2:

We will proceed to the second layer of the painting. We will guide you on adding layers in the paintings and finally the highlights for the painting. At the end of the session on day 2 we will review each of the artworks

Materials Needed:

1. Canvas board/ Drawing sheet

2. Acrylic paints( Bottle/tubes)

3. Brushes (Flat brush 12/14 size and round brush 4/6 size)

4. Tissue paper

5. Water

6. Paper plate or palette 

About the Artist: Pranathi

Pranathi is a software engineer by profession and an artist by passion. Art has been a hobby since childhood and she loves to work on multiple art mediums like acrylics, oil, pastel, watercolors, rock painting etc and loves to experiment on new forms and colors. She has done multiple art workshops in Bangalore and also works on commissioned art works.
