In the midst of our busy city lives, it gets increasingly difficult to find a time and plan long vacations with our children. In a world that is so technologically connected, it is important to build real connections so, if you are looking for ways to spend some quality time over the weekend with your teenager then look no further than the woods! Nature has its own special way of bringing out the child in all of us. Spend a relaxing 2 days away with your child where you get to play with clay, dance around campfires and watch an exquisite folk dance deep in the forests of Agumbe.


Located at a distance of 380 km from Bangalore, Agumbe is a high altitude village in the Malnad region of Karnataka and is often referred to as “The Cherrapunji of the South” because of its scenic beauty and biodiversity. It also comprises of many medicinal plants and is home to the only Rainforest Research Station in India. Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Western Ghats, covered in depths of lowland rainforests and touched by beautiful waterfalls and streams, Agumbe is the perfect place for a weekend camp with your children!


Start your journey through a trail of forest to immerse yourself in the beauty of untouched greenery and the serenity of waterfalls, warm your hands over the campfire and drink in the spectacular evening view from one of the highest peaks in the Western Ghats.
