• It is advisable to come early for the film screenings / workshops / masterclass, any that you wish to attend (at no extra cost). Seat allocation to these sessions will be on first come first serve basis, due to limited seating.
• Sessions' (Screenings/Workshop/Masterclass) date and time are subject to change. In case of any rescheduling, you shall be notified via email.
• Photography and videography will not be allowed inside the screening areas.
• Festival Band needs to be worn at all times, i.e. whole day for Single Pass holders and all three days for Festival Pass holders. If the band is lost, torn or removed then you will not be granted re-entry in the venue; and you will have to buy new ticket.
• It is compulsory to present your Student ID at the Festival Entry, incase you have used Student Discount during purchase of the ticket.

Do I have to be fully vaccinated (2 doses) to attend the festival?

Yes, you need to be fully vaccinated to attend the festival. By purchasing the ticket, you are declaring that you have taken both the vaccine shots at least 14 days prior to the festival date.

What time do the gates open?

What does registering for the festival give me access to?

With a Single Day Pass, you can watch film screenings, attend workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions and experience our Gaming, XR-VR, Comic Zones; on the particular day you plan to attend the fest, either 19th, 20th OR 21st January 2024, 10.00 AM onwards.

With a Festival Pass, you can watch film screenings, attend workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions and experience our Gaming, XR-VR, Comic Zones; on ALL three days, from 19th to 21st January 2024, 10.00 AM onwards. With a Festival Pass, you also get a special invite for our Opening Screening Night happening on 18th January 2024.

If I book my ticket online, how do I collect my ticket?

You will receive an e-ticket after booking. Thereafter, you can collect your Festival Band from the main registration desk at the venue by showing your e-ticket.

Is re-entry into the venue allowed?

Yes, the Festival Band allows you re-entry, subjective to your ticket i.e. Single Day or all days Festival Pass. Festival Band that are lost or misplaced before or during the festival will not be replaced. You will not be allowed to re-enter the festival without your band so we would suggest you keep it on for the duration of the festival!

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?

Once booked, tickets are non-refundable / non-transferable.

Is there a Student Discount?

Yes, you can use STUDENT@ANIMELA code at checkout while purchasing the ticket. Kindly carry your student ID to the Festival or else you will not be granted entry.

Is parking available at the venue?

No parking available inside the venue. You can park at the nearest (on Altamound Road) BMC public parking lot.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes.

Will food & beverages be available at the venue?

There will be ample amounts of food and beverage served at the festival. Once there you will need to ensure all outside perishables are done with or disposed of since they will not be permitted into the festival.

Is there a designated smoking area?

Smoking is not allowed inside the venue because of the fire safety risks involved.

What all can I bring with me to the festival?

We encourage you to have a basic checklist that should have your mobile phone, your wallet / purse, a reusable bottle for water. Things that aren’t allowed are: Illegal substances, drugs, related paraphernalia, weapons of any kind - including pocket knives, pepper spray, guns, fireworks, or any explosives. Outside food or beverages (including alcohol). Professional photo, video or audio equipment (No detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs).

Will you confiscate my bag at the entry?

No, your bag will not be confiscated at the entry; however, we will need to check the elements in your bag to ensure none of the things listed above are present. That festival will be strictly drug-free, and any audiences’ members found with illegal substances will be handed over to the authorities.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, but as much as we love our furry friends, the venue does not allow pets.
