About the Event
Oscar Nayagan maestro AR Rahman's first ever show in 2019 in Chennai!
AR Rahman is a name that needs no introduction to Indian music fans. To call him just a musician or composer would do his impact and legacy no justice. Attend the Maestro's Live Concert in Chennai on 10th August 2019
In the early 90s, he broke through with smash hits primarily in his native language, Tamil. Those soundtracks, Roja and Bombay, were subsequently remade in Hindi, and with blockbusters such as Rangeela & Dil Se..., Rahman had become a household name across the country. He incorporated western instruments, orchestral music elements, qawalli, and even electronics, with traditional Indian music. While he has won several National Film Awards, BAFTA Awards and Filmfare Awards, he has also garnered international acclaim with two Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe, for his work on Slumdog Millionaire.
Throughout his illustrious career, Rahman has composed music for some of the biggest names in the Hollywood, Bollywood and Tamil film industry, and with some of the best singers and musicians. He has several international collaborations as well - including English, Chinese and Iranian films. He has worked with Ranjit Barot, Shivamani, Clinton Cerejo, and international stars like Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Kylie Minogue and Zayn Malik.

2. What is the ticket cancellation/refund policy?
No refunds will be given once the tickets have been booked
3. What can I carry to the event?
The organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to the event site at any time. Also, only sling bags and ladies bags brought into the event will be searched upon entry. No back packs will be allowed inside the venue.
4. Are physical tickets required to enter the event?
Yes, physical tickets are mandatory to enter the event.
5. What are the Box Office timings?
Box office timings will be communicated closer to the event date.
6. Where will I be able to pick-up my physical tickets?
We will share details about the pickup of tickets closer to the event date.
7. What time does entry shut for the event?
Gates for entry will shut at 8PM on the day of the event.
8. What are the seating arrangements for the event?
Seating is on first come, first served basis for the Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and General Area. Diamond and Diamond Plus categories have designated seat numbers which you can choose from.
9. Do I need to carry an ID proof?
You need to carry a government issued photo ID proof, which will be used as verification when you pick up your physical tickets in exchange of your e-tickets. Please carry your id proof when you attend the concert as well.
10. What is the ticket cancellation/refund policy?
No refunds will be given once tickets have been booked.
11. Can I swap/upgrade a G.A. ticket to VIP ticket?
Tickets once purchased cannot be upgraded.
12. Is re-entry allowed once on the premises?
This is a single entry and you cannot re-enter the premises once you exit it.
13. Are there restroom facilities on-site at the event?
Yes, there will be sufficient restrooms for both men and women on the event grounds.
14. Do the facilities cater for disabled attendees?
Yes, the event is wheelchair friendly
