Introducing 'Around India' - our humble effort to tour amazing bands across India!
For our debut show in Bengaluru we’re bringing Noisy Pots (CZE) who are touring India with us along with the sensational Glass Beams (AUS) to Fandom!
Glass Beams:
The enigmatic Melbourne-based band draws inspiration from their Indian and South Asian heritage, infusing their serpentine psychedelia with cosmic instrumentation and worldly polyrhythms. Their debut 'Mirage,' self-recorded in a home studio, is a captivating fusion of 70s-era Indian classical, disco captured through the lens of DIY electronica.
Recognised by industry stalwarts like Gilles Peterson, Glass Beams were named an essential emerging artist by NME 100. Their immersive live performances at Primavera Sound and Best Kept Secret have created waves internationally, where the masked trio cast a hypnotic sonic spell over their audiences.
Noisy Pots:
Noisy Pots are at the forefront of the new wave of diverse independent acts currently bubbling out of the Czech Republic. Formed by Michal Supak and Jakub Tengler, Noisy Pots come from classical and jazz backgrounds, but have focused on electronic music. The band started out by making electro music out of kitchen utensils – hence their name. And their live set-up still features pots and pans. In their most recent singles, “The Internet” and “Children,” they placed a strong emphasis on collaborating with other artists, taking a slight departure from their usual genre. Earlier music video “Rebeko” represents the band's unique approach to music making at its best.
Rough beats and melodies made exclusively from sampled household appliances deliver an unusual sonic experience.
