Piramal Museum of Art is happy to invite you and your students to be a part of an exclusive talk by Nick Ravich, producer of Art21 series, followed by a screening of "Johannesburg" episode from its season 9 (featuring artists: David Goldblatt, Nicholas Hlobo, Zanele Muholi, and Robin Rhode).

Nick Ravich, director of video programming and production, Art21, graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and later Nick worked for filmmaker Errol Morris as a researcher. He later went on to start a nearly twenty year career in documentary production. Throughout his career, Nick has been able to specialize in broadcast arts and culture productions, working with hundreds of artists on projects like Blackside’s "I’ll Make Me a World" and WGBH-TV’s Greater Boston Arts. Having worked at Art21 since 2006, Nick has managed the production of 5 seasons (and counting) of the Peabody Award-winning series Art in the Twenty-First Century as well as co-creating and producing the Webby-nominated digital series New York Close Up. Serving as a series producer for both those programs, Nick is currently Art21’s director of video programming & production.
