Q. What is Art Mumbai 

Art Mumbai is an art fair that brings the best of South Asian art from across the world to Mumbai. All the works on display are available for sale. In addition to the art showcases, there will be onsite programming such as talks, music and walks, to increase awareness and appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of South Asia in general, as well as Mumbai specifically. 

Q. How should I prepare for Art Mumbai?

Familiarise yourself with our exhibitors and programming through our Instagram @artmumbaiofficial and our website www.artmumbai.com so you can better plan your visit to the fair.

Q. What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Good shoes are a must, expect to walk quite a bit. 

Q. Where can I see the line-up for the Speaker Series/ Stage events?

Q. Do I have to pay separately for the Speaker Series/ Stage events? 

No, once you purchase a ticket, you can attend our Speaker Series and Stage Programming for free. However, registration is mandatory, details for which will be shared once you purchase your ticket. On the spot registrations are allowed, subject to availability. There are limited seats available for each of the events. 

Q. Can I bring my children?

Of course, Art Mumbai is open to all! We even have special themed walks for children of various ages. Children under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult.

Q. Is there a map for the venue?

A detailed venue layout and fair map will be posted soon. Watch this space! 

Q. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the entire venue is wheelchair accessible. Visitors are permitted to get their own wheelchairs (with accompanying attendants). A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the venue, however visitors are required to bring their own attendant. Prior booking of the wheelchair is mandatory by writing to contact@artmumbai.com. 1 Attendant will be allowed free entry. Entry for those who require wheelchairs will only be from the Member’s Enclosure Entry Gate. Wheelchairs are available for use for a maximum duration of 2 hours per visitor. 

Q. Will you check my bag at the entry?

Yes we will check all bags at the entrance to ensure that there are no dangerous or illegal elements. Your safety and the safety of all our patrons is of the utmost importance to us. 

Q. Can I sign up for a walk at the venue?

Yes you can, but we recommend buying a walks pass/ registering beforehand as each timeslot is filled on a first come first served basis and there are limited spaces available. 

Q. Is there parking available at the venue? 

No parking is available at the venue and visitors are encouraged to use public transportation. The nearest train station is Mahalaxmi Station via E Moses Road which is a 15 minute walk from the fair venue. Limited paid parking space may become available at the venue at a later stage, on a first come first serve basis. This will be updated on this page/ ticketing emailer. 

Q. Are pets allowed at the event?

No pets allowed at the venue. 

Q. Can I carry my own food to the event?

No F&B items allowed to be carried inside except water. There are multiple F&B vendors at the Fair from whom visitors can purchase F&B items. If an exemption is required due to medical reasons please contact the box office at Gate No. 2.

Q. Is there storage for bags at the venue and can I carry big bags? 

No, big backpacks/bags and suitcases are not permitted inside the venue and there is no storage space at the venue.
