About

A workshop designed to introduce participants to drones. This will you to learn drone technology, program the drones and try building your own use cases on top.

What will you learn?

Day 1 (basics)
Definition and Uses of Drones
Aerodynamics: In depth explanation of forces and axes involved in flying of pluto
Simulation to understand Forces better
Equilibrium: Understanding stable and unstable systems
Sensors: In-depth about accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Barometer and magnetometer which are present in Pluto
Motors: How motors work and what is Lorentz's law
Propellers: What type of propeller we are using and it affects flying

Day 2 (coding)
Programming the Pluto
Introduction to C++
Introduction to Experience IDE (IDE for programming the Pluto)
Understanding Pluto API
Using LEDs for debugging
Preparing drone for crash scenarios
Chuck to Arm functionality
Navigating using Code - automate Pluto movements
Accessing sensors for data and processing it
