Varkala is a small town in Kerala with abundant natural beauty. This charming town sits nestled on the coastal stretch overlooking the Arabian sea & it isnt anything that you associate Kerala with! Imagine a serene cleaner version of Goa with far less crowds.

Day 1: Reach Cochin airport, freshen up at the airport & head to mini Munnar. (Its a really small stretch in kochi which looks & feels very similar to Munnar hills, have a quick photoshoot here and start the scenic drive to Varkala. Reach your hotel / hostel and soak in the vibes of quaint town of Varkala.

Mandi Biryani (Veg / Non veg) Mandi biryani is fusion of Arabic & Kerala cusine. A must try if you are here. it is locally referred to as Malabar cuisine.

Day 2: Start the day with breakfast, Freshen up, dab some sunscreen, put on the shades and head out to the Varkala beach. Also known as the Papanasam beach, Varkala beach is one of the quiet and less-commercial beaches in India. Stroll further north to reach the secluded Edava beach and relish the sight of virgin stretches of the blue lagoon, backwaters and northern cliffs. Take a leisurely walk along the Varkala cliffs that stand facing the Arabian sea and stretch along the beach. Varkala cliffs make it to the list of geo-heritage sites due to these unique sedimentary cliffs and the numerous water sprouts and natural mineral-rich water spas around its stretch. There are a number of good restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy local cuisines and piping hot coffee before you head back to your room for the day. Try parasailing and surfing. Do you know that there is a black sand beach in Varkala?

Day 3: Wake up early and take a refreshing walk on the cool shores. Grab a bite and start off for some local sightseeing. Start your day absorbing some peaceful vibes by visiting Janardanaswamy Vishnu temple with beautiful architecture dating back to centuries ago. We then head to Jatayu Earth's centre, Jatayu Adventure Centre in Kerala has the world's largest bird sculpture. Featuring the world's largest bird sculpture, the Jatayu Adventure Centre at Chadayamangalam in Kollam, Kerala, is one-of-a-kind theme parks based on the Indian epic, the Ramayana. The ropeway ride is worth the distance.

Day 4: Start early as we leave from Varkala today, first stop would be Kappil beach. It is one of the most scenic beaches in India after Andamans & Lakswadweep. You will be able to see blue waters on one side and Backwater of Kappil lake on the other. A rare combination of a lake & sea separated by nature. Take a quick dip in the sea or just chill for sometime before we continue our journey to Alleppey backwaters. Go for a 2 hour backwater ride & have authentic Kerala thali in Allapuzha. Overnight at Kochi. P.S There are many cafes in fort Kochi area if you fancy good music & a beer (transportation not included)

Day 5:

Today is the free day, have breakfast at hotel and drop your luggage at the hotel reception to explore kochi on your own. Get dropped at the airport as per your flight timings. (Airport Drop not provided for flights booked at a time different than the group departure timing)
