About the artists

Rajeev Goswami: - Director, Choreographer & Writer – BEYOND BOLLYWOOD

Being one of the proud Founding Partners of Gravity Zero Entertainment LLP, Rajeev Goswami is a renowned Indian Director and Choreographer in our fraternity. Post graduating from The Central Film School, London, in year 2010, he decided to return to India and pursue his journey towards his passion as a Creative Artist to Music/ Dance/ Choreography, etc. He began his career performing for a countless Bollywood shows, where he even got an opportunity to choreograph. In 2006, he choreographed for a Broadway-style fusion Musical concert, Believe, which included performances by renowned names in Music like Taufiq Qureshi, Roopkumar and Sonali Rathod. He Directed acclaimed Music videos, namely for Shekhar Suman in his debut album Kuchh Khwaab Aise, for Salman Khan in his song Honey Honey. He also played an Assistant Choreographer role to Apurva Lakhiya in the movies Shootout at Lokhandwala and Mission Istanbul. He even received numerous opportunities to work as a choreographer on an extensive range of Indian films, including Deewangi, Bunty aur Bubbly and Baghbaan to name a few. Being one of the Pioneers of producing Musicals in India, Rajeev conceived the idea of “Beyond Bollywood – The WestEnd Dance Musical”, a Gravity Zero Entertainment Production, and Directed, Choreographed, Produced the show in its entirety during the year 2014. The show which has globe trotted successfully with over 500+ shows to date. Another feather in his hat also consists of Directing and to Choreograph “Umrao Jaan Ada- The Musical”, a Gravity Zero Entertainment Production, which again is a one of its kind consisting of India’s first Live Singing Performance as a part of its phenomenon Dance Drama Play.

Salim & Sulaiman Merchant

Proud duos as Founding Partners of Gravity Zero Entertainment LLP, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant are renowned names in Music Industry of India. During their early days of career building, working in the same building as Film Director Sanjay Gupta, the brothers’ Salim and Sulaiman Merchant’s work was overheard by the Bollywood Director, who immediately signed them on to compose and record the theme of his 1997 Kajol and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Hameshaa. Before they knew it, Salim and Sulaiman had captured Bollywood’s attention in a profound manner. Today Salim and Sulaiman are among Bollywood’s Hottest Music Directors. By incorporating Western, Folk, Hindustani and Sufi influences to their music, the duo has managed to enthrall audiences across the world. They not only keep up with the changing face of India’s film industry, but also have helped immensely to redefine it. When they aren’t taking over Bollywood, they’re composing jingles for television commercials of India’s leading brands including Visa, Raymond and Pepsi; or producing albums for a long list of artists such as Adnan Sami, Voodoo Rapper, Style Bhai, Shweta Shetty and many more. They have previously been seen on many shows including Chak De Bachhe, Sa Re Ga Ma Grand Finale and even been the face for Raymond Suitings. Indian Idol series had put them in the spotlight too with Salim on the panel of judges in search of India’s next singing superstar. Irfan Siddiqui

Being one of the proud Founding Partners of Gravity Zero Entertainment LLP, Irfan Siddiqui, a strong business oriented well regarded backbone to the company, has profound respect towards his passion of writing. During his early career days in Bollywood world, he got an opportunity to showcase his flair by writing the mellifluous song Ashayein from the movie Iqbal. It did not just only became a chart-topper, but it soon was regarded as an anthem for motivation amongst the youth. He went on to exhibit his Lyrical excellence by writing hit songs for various Hindi movies such as Fashion, Heroin, Chance Pe Dance and Kurbaan to name a few. He has also penned down many songs for some of the leading Music Directors and Composers, namely Salim-Sulaiman, Adnan Sami, Pritam and many more. His flair also gained high repute for writing songs of Pop albums for renowned artists like Adnan Sami, Shiamak Davar, Rajeev Goswami and Ganesh Hegde. With his panache in lyrics he wrote anthems for Indion Idol 4 and the first ever IPL to happen in 2009. His extensive profile also includes many ad jingles. His finesse for writing created resonance as he wrote for international artists and albums, namely Adnan Sami’s Ek Ladki Thi Diwani Si featuring Jermaine Jackson, and the Hindi version of High School Musical I and High School Musical II. Being one of the Pioneers of Producing Musicals in India, Irfan Siddiqui during his tenure of advancement, conducted extensive repertory as a Lyricist for “Beyond Bollywood – The WestEnd Dance Musical”, a Gravity Zero Entertainment Production, during the show making in year 2014. Sushant Vasishth (Raghav – Male lead)

Sushant Vasishth is an Actor, Choreographer, Dancer and has an experience of more than a decade in the field of performing arts.

He started his acting career with Lushin Dubey & Bubbles Sabharwal as the lead actor & Assistant Director in their musical called ”Wizwits”. He has played the lead role in musicals like “Zangoora” and “Jhumroo” staged at The Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon, having performed in over 350 shows for the same. He also is a lead for the Musical “NAMASTE INDIA/BEYOND BOLLYWOOD” directed by Rajeev Goswami and now with “Umrao Jaan Ada”, he continues his journey of self discovery as an artist.

Ana Ilmi – (Shaily – Female lead)

Ana Ilmi is trained dancer, actor and choreographer, performed over 400 shows of ‘BEYOND BOLLYWOOD’ in London, Algeria , Europe , Muscat and Kingdom Of Dreams (India) as a lead actor and dancer . She has worked for various projects including films, web series and advertisements. She is trained in Kathak, Indian folk and Bollywood and also participated in various Indian dance reality shows.
