Sikkim

Situated between the kingdoms of Nepal in the west and Bhutan in the east lies a small stretch of rugged land just 115 kilometers by 65 kilometers the Indian state of Sikkim, the towering mountains that define this paradise of nature also create a barrier to efficient agriculture. With 40% of the total area surrounded by forests. These mountains that fall directly in the path of the monsoon clouds making the state one of the wettest in the country. Sikkim was earlier a protectorate of India with a monarchy government but in 1975 it metamorphosed as the Twenty Second state of the Indian Union. The population of the whole state is only 5,40,000.

Itinerary

Siliguri : Airport pickup

Arrive at Bagdogara and reach Siliguri, 10 km away from Airport. After check-in into our designated hotel and meeting your co-riders, you will be briefed about the adventurous journey you're embarking on the next day. We'll also take you through some safety precautions to ensure that all our riders have a great time with no complications during the adventure ahead. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Siliguri to Gangtok [120 KM]

You wake up early in the morning, after breakfast we allot the participants their respective bikes, to ride towards Gangtok, which is known as the „Land of Monasteries‟. In route Siliguri to Gangtok you will ride across the Teesta River. There are many attractions in Gangtok to name a few; Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok and Tashi View Point. Don‟t forget to visit Gangtok Local Market. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Gangtok to Lachen [130 KM]

We will start our Journey at 8.00 Am after breakfast, riding through the Beautiful Mountains towards Lachen. We would now embark on a journey, the most unique and holy lands of North Sikkim. This route is widely believed to have been taken by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on his journey to Tibet. A Small hold for Permit in Mangan to North Sikkim and then ride to Chungthang valley, on the way to Lachen. This little hamlet will mesmerize you with its green and verdant surroundings, white snowy peaks and lofty, black cliffs. Overnight stay in Lachen.

Lachen to Lachung [190 KM]

We shall start our ride early in the morning at sharp 4.00 Am. Get ready to ride towards North Sikkim plateau, reaching at Gurudongmar lake altitude of 17,800 Ft. it is considered one of the most sacred lakes by the Buddhists and Hindus alike. The beautiful and awe inspiring lake (190 kms from Gangtok) remains milky in colour throughout the year. After leaving Gurudongmar Lake you will head down towards Lachung. Located at a distance of around 120 km. from Gangtok, Lachung is yet another beautiful town in Sikkim. Known for its snow-covered peaks, waterfalls and streams. You can spend your time visiting Lachung Monastery. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Lachung to Mangan [160 KM]

Start your ride in the morning at 8.00 am, towards Zero Point; the ride to Zero Point (Yumesamdong) at an altitude of 15,300 feet, is when we touch the high altitude region of Sikkim. Zero point is where the road ends in India. Our route is going via Yumthang Valley. Also known as the „Valley of Flowers‟, this picturesque valley lies at an elevation of around 11,600 ft. above sea level. Overnight stay in Mangan.

Mangan to Nathang/Zuluk [120 KM]

Today we head towards Thambi View point and continue to Nathang from Mangan. Sightseeing at Zuluk, Zig Zag road, Lungthung. You shall also visit the Memorial & temple honoring Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint “Baba Harbhajan Singh”. There is a touching story associated with this temple. In October 1968 he disappeared. It is said that while escorting mules carrying provisions, he fell into a stream and drowned. After a few days he reappeared in the dreams of one of his sentry colleagues and asked him to make a memorial here on his name. And reach Nathang. Overnight stay at Nathang Valley.

Nathang/Zuluk to Siliguri [140 KM]

This being Last day of your Bike trip, you would be riding towards the famous 52 hair pin bends on the way to Siliguri. and also Witnessing the changing colors on Mt. Kanchenjungha and other Himalayan Ranges early in the morning. We end our trip of Sikkim and overnight stay at Siliguri.

Siliguri Airport Drop

It is time. Time to announce the closure of the trip. The trip may have come to an end; we will always be

connected with the memories of the trip. We will drop you at Bagdogra Airport.

-Any other item which is not specified under cost inclusions.

-All applicable taxes.

-Any kind of expenses, arising due to accident, physical damage to the bike, or forfeiting the ride at any point in time, the transportation charge or expanse will be borne by the client.

-Any entrance fee to the monastery and monuments.

General Terms & Conditions for Booking

• 10000/- to be paid as booking registration amount.

• 50% of the tour cost to be deposited in our account before 30

days of departure.

• Remaining balance to be paid before 15 days of departure.

• All bookings & confirmations are subject to availability of

accommodation in specified hotels.

• Kindly note that cheque is not acceptable.

• Guests, who are unable to visit our offices for booking, can

deposit amount in the bank account or can make payment

online through net banking.

• Also, after making the transfer, intimate the same to us by

sending scanned copy/screenshot of bank slip and personal

details.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• In case of cancellation for group from organizer side due to

any unavoidable circumstances, we will try to transfer the

booking in other departure (if client denies to opt for transfer

of booking to other group then there will be no refund). Else

we will refund 100% amount deposited.

• In case of cancellation from client side after the registration

at any point of time, then in that case there will be no refund.

• Registration amount is non-refundable

• If you want to change your tour date, you have to inform us

30 days prior to the departure date.

• If you want to cancel your trip, you have to keep us informed

at least 20 days prior to the departure date. If you informed

us 15 days prior to the departure date, 25% amount would be

refunded, and under 15 days 50% amount would be

refunded.

• If in case you have opted for 1 bike 2 rider options and your

pillion rider cancelled in any reason then you have to take the

solo rider package.

• If in case you inform us to change travel date 15 days prior to

the ride date, then your booking amount is cancelled and you

have to re-register.
