Breezer Vivid Shuffle is back for year 4. This year, the festival goes digital. This means that your submissions for the shortlist round will have to be featured on Instagram by tagging us on @breezervividshuffle with the hashtags #ReadyToShuffle and #LiveLifeInColour. Qualifying artists will battle it out virtually in future rounds, eventually going head-to-head at the Grand Finale on February 21!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

How to enter:

Fill in the form to upload your entry on your preferred social media platform. Make sure the link is viewable to the public. Keep sharing your entries with your friends to make them as popular as possible, and you could be well on your way to winning the title of the best breaker in India!

Last day of submission is 31st December.

Shortlist:

Judges will shortlist the top 32 entries. Keep an eye on your likes and shares, and you may just win a special prize as the audience favourite!

League Qualifiers:

Top 32 Bboys/Bgirls will battle it out 1v1 on a live feed before our judges to find out who makes it to the Finale, but that’s not all! A special prize will be given to the most popular act on the basis of audience voting.

League Teams:

The chosen dancers will be divided into 4 leagues by a process of selection by the league ambassadors, becoming part of a collection of artists from other categories such as graffiti, popping, and rap.

Finale:

The Grand Finale will include the top 16 breakers that pass the qualifiers in an online bracket battle that will determine the winner of the Grand Prize!

Rules & Regulations

SHORTLIST:

1. Entries must be 45-60 seconds long.
2. In the video entry, you must introduce yourself by your stage name and speak about your style.
3. You can use your own music in the entry. Be creative!
4. The entry must consist of one steady shot (no close-ups, no hand camera, no editing, no slo-mo) in landscape mode.
5. The video must be recent (produced after January 2020).
6. The performance must be TOWARDS THE CAMERA.
7. The quality of the video recording will be considered in the judging process.
8. You may submit up to 1 video only.
9. Upload your video to Instagram and Youtube with the given account tags and hashtags.
10. Make sure your video visibility is set to Public.
11. Make sure to tag the city you will be representing.
12. Make sure to fill in the registration form, provide all the required personal information, choose the battle categories, and provide the link to registration/prelims video.
13. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration. Please make sure you have received the email, and check your spam folder too.
14. Last Upload date for all content entries is December 31, 2020.

QUALIFIER ROUNDS:

1. The qualifier round will be a LIVE ONLINE BATTLE. All advancing performers will need to set up their equipment for online battles. A notification email will be sent with detailed instructions prior to the qualifier.
2. The first round will be a battle round where the top 32 B-boys/B-girls are expected to pack in all their best moves into two throwdowns of not more than 45 seconds.
3. The judges will score the participants on the following categories: foundation, dynamics, execution, battle tactics, and musicality.
4. After tallying the marks given by the judges, 16 of the top scoring dancers shall make it to the finale.
5. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker round shall determine the winner.
6. The decisions will be made by a panel of judges, and their decision shall be final.
7. The Breaking Battle is a 1v1 battle and is open to all dancers of any gender.
8. The Breaking Battle has no age divisions. There is, however, a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
9. If a participant loses their internet connection during the live battle, they will be given 3 minutes to re-connect. If the connection has not been re-established within that time frame, the opponents will be chosen to advance to the next battle. If a participant loses their internet connection at the end of the live battle and is currently under decision by the judges, they can still advance to the next round since they will have already finished their round.

TEAM SELECTION:

1. After the qualifiers and top 16 selection of the category, the breakers will advance to team selection where they will be clubbed with their league ambassador and qualifiers dancers/artists from other categories.
2. The categories represented under each league team are Breaking (4), Popping (4), Hip-Hop Showcase(2), Rap (2) and Graffiti (1).

FINALE:

1. The top 16 B-Boys/B-Girls will battle in 1v1 knockout rounds, conducted in 4 throwdowns of 45 seconds each.
2. 2 B-Boys/B-Girls will battle at a time.
3. The pool is halved and the same process continues till we have the B-Boy/B-Girl of India.
4. Inappropriate sexual gestures are not advised.
5. All music will be selected by the competition DJ.
6. The team determines the order of appearance of B-Boys/B-Girls throughout the battle.
7. Judges will officiate and their decision shall be final.
8. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker round shall determine the winner.
