Ever wondered how to write effortlessly pretty fonts? Well.. you have wait no more! Learn to manoeuvre brush pens to write beautiful letters using modern calligraphy. Add this skill of brush lettering to your armour, so you can start creating these amazing art pieces on your own, while also getting an outlet to express and share your thoughts.

In this session you get to practice the alphabet in detail followed by creating an abstract background using watercolors, and writing affirmations (or whatever else you'd like to write!) using brushpens.

This is a beginner-friendly session, conducted by an award winning watercolorist who's taken over 50+ art workshops, so just bring your learning hat with you and learn to create your own travelog with a magical effect! No prior knowledge of calligraphy or watercolors is required.

Age: 9+ yrs

Level - Good for beginners & intermediate levels. Ideal for a first-timer, a long-time enthusiast, or an artist who wants to try a new medium or style, this workshop is the perfect way to de-stress, learn something new and create new friends. If you are keen to get started with watercolors this can be a simple and fun way to get started!

All materials required to make this will be provided at the venue. You take away with you your completed painting done with pen and watercolors on 7.5"X10" artist grade paper.

About the Instructor: Sai Priya Mahajan is an Indian Contemporary Artist who recently won the Outstanding Watercolor Award at the Boldbrush Contest. An engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, she has now exhibited in India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh) as well as internationally (NY, Philadelphia - USA, Toronto-Canada, Taipei-Taiwan) and is part of several Art Associations including the International Watercolor Society, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, USA and a lifetime member of the Art Society of India. Sai loves to share the joy of painting by teaching various art forms and has conducted several art workshops in the past.

Next 15 mins - Basics of Brush Lettering and alphabet practice

Next 15 mins - Creating background using watercolors

Next 1 hour - Writing using Brushpen in main art piece

Last 15 mins - Wrap up and photos

Please reach 5-10 mins before the event starts to get comfortable and avoid keeping other participants waiting. We will start and finish on time.
