Well, Simran is just like you and she has a ton of tricks up her sleeve! We all know a magician never shares her secret, but lucky for you, Skillizo has teamed up with Simran (@Midnightscribbler) to guide you into the magical world of brush calligraphy;

We introduce this workshop as a pillar in helping you structure your life in a positive manner; be it how you work, how you look to improve you work, or how you invest your time, it’s good to take things slowly once in a while. It’s nice to rewind a little, channel your positive energy into brush calligraphy, listen to music and sip on your favorite drink.

The workshop includes:

● Beginner Tips and Warm-Up Drills.

● Basic Theory of Brush Calligraphy Script.

● How to hold, care and use a brush pen.

● Basic Drills.

● Upper Case alphabets: A-Z.

● Lower Case Alphabets: a-z.

● Joining letters to write words.

● Using words to write quotes.

The session will be held in 2 parts over 2 days with duration of 90 minutes each. The upcoming sessions are on Saturday, 1st August 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Sunday, 2nd August 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Other Highlights:

• Participants will be provided with a 45 pages pdf workbook (personally curated by Simran) consisting of all theory and worksheets to practice that can be printed for a better learning experience before the workshop.
• Participants will be taught things they should do and also things which are NOT TO DO. Each and every drill be taught in detail with mistakes to avoid, and how to check your own strokes and correct them when you practice later.
• Besides brush calligraphy, IF TIME ALLOWS , blending with Brushpens will be taught too.
• Sessions will happen on ZOOM, details of which will be shared an hour before the sessions.

Note: *In case there is a technical issue at our end during the workshop, you’ll be given an alternate batch timing at the earliest and the workshop will be held accordingly on timing and date which suits everyone. We hope there will be cooperation, if such unforeseen circumstances arise.
