Centrestage's latest musical offering for Kolkata's music lovers!

Its been exactly 10 years since our immensely popular 'BURMANS' concert at Science City in 2013. With the announcement of this upcoming concert, 'BURMANIA', its like completing a full circle.

Specially crafted for fans of Sachin Dev Burman & Rahul Dev Burman. For fans of Md. Rafi & Kishore Kumar. And for those of the Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar & Asha Bhosle.

An exhibition of their timeless compositions rendered by the finest singers of this generation in a fresh and happy presentation that is bound to make a difference to your musical sensibilities.

Mumbai's top musicians on stage led by ace percussionist Anupam Ghatak including original players from RD Burman's team Suraj Sathe (Accordion) & Shyam Raj (Tenor Sax) shall create the original soundscape of the Burmans along with other frontline musicians like Kiran Gaikwad, Chirag Panchal, Robin Fargose, Walter Dias, Nagesh Koli, Suresh Iyer!

Line-up of singers include a mix of youth and experience with the likes of the winner of the first season of Zee TV's saregama Sanjeevani Bhelande, K for Kishore winner Arnab Chakraborty, young talents like Anushka Patra, Deepayan Banerjee, current Saregamapa winner Asmita Kar and Noted participant Sayantan Adhikary along with experienced Kolkata singers like Sispiya Banerjee & Imran Akhtar.

A special segment shall feature noted whistling genius Debasish Shome (Babu) in jugalbandi with Kolkata's top Sitarist Rahul Chatterjee, a feat, that we are sure will blow your mind away!

The show will be shot for telecast over the Zee Bangla network. While state of art production is assured for your satisfaction, audiences are requested to bear for minor time lapses arising out of talk-back & other technical delays.
