This is going to be a short story writing competition and the funds collected will go to Volunteer for India, a not for profit based in India dedicated to promote volunteerism. This event is to aid in providing COVID Relief for underprivileged children. Please support this cause and participate.
The story writing competition:
The competition will be an open themed competition where anyone from different parts of India can take part. The winning stories will be published as an ebook.
Winning Prize:
The top-5 entries will be given a chance to be published as eBooks by Srishti Publishers and Distributors.
Takeaway for all applicants from the contest

3. Get a chance to get published with one of the biggest publishing houses
4. Get professional feedback on your writing skills
5. All participants will get a participation certificate.
All participants need to mail the screenshot of their payment details along with their story to the email-Id ipshita@volunteerforindia.com
- Entries close on 6th June
- Results will be announced by 12th of June
Rules and regulations
1. The work needs to be a original work of fiction
2. There should be no obscene content
3. There should be no content denigrating any religion, caste, creed, nationality etc
4. The minimum word count has to be 3000 words and maximum not more than 10000 words
5. Plagiarism will lead to instant disqualification
6. It has to be written in prose and not poetry.
7. The winners will be decided on the basis on content, quality and command of language. There will be special emphasis on the writing style as well.
8. The decision of the judges will be final and there will be no changes once the decision is made.
9. The top-5 entries will be shared with the Publishers and on acceptance by their editorial team on the basis of their internal guidelines will be given a publishing contract for a eBook.
10. The terms and conditions of publishing will be shared at that stage and are to be agreed between said Publisher and Authors respectively.
11 The Publisher reserves the right to drop any of the selected stories for publication under their banner irrespective of any condition. This may not be contested further.
