About the Event
Carpediem VIII, the Cultural Fest of CBIT, Hyderabad, is back for it's Eighth Edition!
With a star-studded lineup, the likes of which include Bollywood heartthrob Armaan Malik, India's most happening and popular DJ Nucleya, Telugu Super-Singer Hemachandra and East India Comedy's Sahil Shah and Sapan Verma, the festival will be an experience unlike any other.
On the 24th of March, Armaan Malik will take Centre Stage, and Hemachandra will dole out top Telugu melodies, while on the 25th, Sahil Shah and Sapan Verma will have you in splits, followed by the Raja with his full Bass Yatra Setup

Single-handedly responsible for building a lexicon of bass music unique to India - Nucleya aka UdyanSagar is undoubtedly the country’s most popular and influential independent artist. He launched his album ‘Tota Myna’ at The Sunburn Arena with around 30,000 fans attending it live. The album launch tour spanning 6 cities is said to be the biggest-ever tour attempted by an Independent artist in India! His tracks ‘Let’s Nacho’ and ‘Paintra’ have featured in Bollywood movies like Kapoor and Sons and Mukkabaaz. He also played at the inaugural edition of the prestigious Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) India and was invited to play at EDC Mexico and the flagship EDC at Las Vegas. With over 1.48M Subscribers on YouTube, he’s garnered a unique audience for his music that continues to vibe along to his music! Sapan Verma is one of India’s most popular English stand-up comedians and also the co-founder of the East India Comedy, one of India’s leading comedy collectives. He has done over 700 live shows in the last five years, in all over India and also in New York, Paris, Barcelona, Dubai, Singapore and China. He was also a regular presenter on NDTV Prime’s news comedy show The Bottom Line. In 2016, he released his Amazon Prime Video comedy special, Obsessive Comedic Disorder, and can often be spotted making puns. This year, he's part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation! #thatsright.
A child stuck in man’s body, Sahil Shah lets his inner ‘problem child’ out with his comedy (best sampled with his special, Childish Behaviour, with which he toured in 2017). One of the founding members of East India Comedy, he has performed over 900 shows and counting, including performances in New York, London, Singapore and Dubai. The versatile comedian is a regular at the Comedy Store and other leading venues in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Hyderabad. Apart from comedy clubs and sold out auditoriums, Sahil has also given a TedX talk, has been featured on shows such as Channel V UR Fired and The Front Row on Star World, and has written articles in MTV Noise Factory, one of India’s leading humor magazines. Sahil is also known for his YouTube show The Ad Show.
