Jeeya Sethi
Jeeya believes if you are fat once (by fat she means FAAAAT) you are fat forever, mentally you never become thin even after losing all the weight. An event manager turned stand-up comedian, improviser and actor, she has made entertainment her new life's mission since nothing else is going for her!
Shashi Dhiman
Shashi Dhiman is an upcoming comic and has featured in several shows.
Anand Reghu
Published reports say that Anand Reghu has been on the Mumbai stand-up scene for seven long years since its very inception. This cannot be proved or disproved but it is ok. Reghu claims to be a Parsi with a bad case of sun burn but we have our doubts. His stand-up is unpredictable and always funny, even when it's not. But mostly, it is about him trying not to be a loser. Anand has even tried calling himself Andy but there are no shortcuts to Cooldom and there are no shortcuts out of Kurla.
Andy's hit acts include 'How to be a spiritual leader?' How to pick up chicks in Malad? and 'How to be successfully successful at work?' These have not got viral yet but thankfully, Andy does have a day job which involves him scripting funny videos for a living. You may recognize his work in award-winning short-films which cannot be named here for security reasons.
Shaurya Tyagi
Shaurya Tyagi is a stage actor and a freelance writer. Like the majority of the unambitious Indian population he too has an MBA degree, which may not promise him a job but would definitely get him a good marriage proposal.
Sumaira Shaikh
Sumaira Shaikh writes for AIB but does stand-up for herself. Very much for herself in fact as she leaves out all act-outs, impersonations and histrionics in her act to cut straight to the bone. Sometimes scary, sometimes funny but always making sense, Sumaira's stand-up is not exactly YouTube friendly but it does have the rare quality of being memorable. And that is saying a lot in our trigger-happy click-bait times.
Niveditha Prakasam
Niveditha Prakasam is an automobile engineer turned language editor turned standup comedian from Tamil Nadu. She won the reality TV show TLC Queens of Comedy and has now moved to Bombay to steal everyone's jobs. Her style has been described as intelligent, wry and sarcastic.
Gaurav Pawar
Gaurav Pawar recognised the Khaki colour before any other, even though it wasn't among the colours taught in nursery. He has been affectionately called ''3rd degree'' by his friends and likes pointing out fallacies in torture techniques in movies. He had once been scolded for writing a letter in the format of an FIR and calling it that as well. Gaurav has a deep contempt for anything that people hold dear (like mangoes, they have already made candy and drinks out of it, its not special anymore) and this outlook does not lead to a lot of conversations which is just fine by him.
Kunal Rao
Often called the sexiest (if not the funniest) chartered accountant in the market (he makes you laugh while you file your taxes), Kunal Rao launched his career in comedy after he quit his high-paying job in London. Over the last two years, he has performed over 150 shows in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Delhi. Kunal has had two comedy specials, Holy Krao! (2012) and Its Not Okay (2015) and is a co-founder of popular comedy collective East India Company. With them, he has performed sketch and topical news comedy (EIC Outrage) and participates in an annual celebration of the worst of the Indian film industry, EIC vs Bollywood. His international career includes Nepal, Sri Lanka, Dubai and his aunt's living room in south Mumbai.
