In this session, Aparna will bring us together through a led drum circle where we’ll create music together using a wide range of percussion instruments. In the spirit of Christmas season, this drum circle is planned to build a sense of community and sharing through a series of games and activities that involve drumming, singing, dancing, and have fun while connecting with the self at a deeper level as you resonate with each others’ energy! 

Drumming also has a myriad of health benefits such as relieving stress and post-traumatic stress disorder. It helps control chronic pain & boosts the immune system. The physical stimulation of hitting the drums helps remove mind blockages and negative emotions.

• Suitable for ages 12 and above.
• No musical or drumming experience required. 

Facilitator

Aparna is a certified sound therapist (Sound Healing Academy, UK) and drum circle facilitator (Taal Inc, Pune). Music and sound have always been an integral part of her life, and have helped her cope with a troubled childhood. She firmly believes in a holistic approach to life and realizes the importance of the mind, body, spirit connection to overall well-being, and is especially passionate about sharing her love for music and sound as a tool for self-care.

• We do not permit single use plastics at The Space. Please don't carry such items with you. Water is available for all at The Space.
• This ticket cannot be cancelled and is non refundable, (but can be transferred to another person for the same session itself)
