The event will be for 2 hours. The guests will be served wine and cheeses named after great pianists like Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin. They get to choose the musicians of their choice.
The piano recitals start once everyone is in. It starts with a popular piano piece which everyone would know, and the discussion is started with everyone on what they know about piano music and the world of classical music. The event then goes on to show the repertoire of piano music over the ages and gets the audience involved in which period of music they loved the most. The audience will get to socialize and discuss different eras of music and how it influences each of them, from the romantic period to contemporary pop and rock music. Short pieces of different, famous composers will be played and the audience engaged to understand the differences in composers, including Indian and Bollywood numbers.
Finally, the audience will be left free to socialize amongst themselves, while the pianist plays a few requests of the audience. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Shishu Care Foundation – an organization which helps in the medical care of needy children. The ten people attending the event will be chosen from those who apply to attend the event. The circles will consist of people from different walks of life and not a group of friends, and you will all get to know how different people perceive and understand music.

Bharath is a paediatrician and a musician, and he plays the piano and violin. Being amongst children all day, it makes him realize how much adults need to take time off for themselves and keep their souls alive, and what better way than music? Studies have recently shown that people listening to live music regularly are happier people and more lively. He has always loved hosting friends at his place and playing the piano for them with food, wine and socializing. Bharath wanted to open this out to others, probably strangers, who could experience piano music, learn a bit or two about the world of music, socialize and hopefully raise awareness for his foundation – Shishu Care Foundation, which caters to the healthcare needs of poor children.
