Are you good at interviewing people and creating short insightful videos? If yes, Udayan Care is looking for volunteers to help create a virtual orientation video to engage new joiners and give them an insight into the organisation, its culture and its people, diversifying their perspective.
How can volunteers help?
Volunteers will help create short 2 min videos for each department and edit it into one informative induction program. These videos will focus on familiarising new joiners with the various departments, their purpose and how they align with Udayan Care’s overall vision.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- assisting with content writing for the video
- coordinating with departments
- interviewing department heads virtually over video conference
- compiling all videos to piece together the final induction program
- translating audio from English to Hindi
Please note: Once you sign up, the Udayan Care team will reach out to you to brief you on further details and share guidelines to help you navigate around the volunteering experience.
Things to keep in mind:
Volunteers should be
- familiar with video editing softwares
- fluent in English and Hindi.
Volunteers with professional video editing experience will be preferred.
Time commitment needed by the Volunteer:
8 to 10 hours per week for 4 weeks.

Udayan is a Sanskrit word meaning 'Eternal Sunrise'. Udayan Care aims to bring sunshine into the lives of underserved sections of society that require intervention. Registered in 1994 as a Public Charitable Trust, Udayan Care works to empower vulnerable children, women, and youth, in 23 cities across 14 states of India.
Starting with the establishment of just one small family home (Ghar) for orphaned and abandoned children in Sant Nagar, Delhi in 1996, Udayan Care has spread its work for disadvantaged groups during the last 25 years by establishing more family homes, helping girls' education, providing vocational training, etc. To date, Udayan Care has nurtured over 25,000 young minds. This has been made possible only through the support of like-minded people, donors, and partners who believed in Udayan Care's work and mission.
