Performers:
Jaleelah Galbraith is a Bristol, UK based stand up who asks the big questions in life but doesn’t have any big answers as she often gets stuck on the little things. Jaleelah has taken 2 full length shows to the Edinburgh Fringe; ‘It is a Truth’ (2018) and ‘Age Fright’ (2019), she is currently writing her third.
Michael Monkhouse: Funnier than Sylvia Plath, younger than the Iliad, sexier than Donald Trump... My career spans over three jokes. I am a British stand-up who came to Italy for one year twenty years ago. I enjoy acting, stand-upping, and writing and performing sketches, and currently run Farm Comedy, Rome's only English Open Mic comedy show.
Tristan Barber is most definitely an up and coming Brussels-based standup comic from Canada. He likes the strange and unexpected. Having been immersed in the world of EU politics and other businesses he has no business in, his comedy covers a wide range of topics through a uniquely cynical, yet playful and energetic tone.
Kajol Srinivasan has been doing comedy for 4 years now. She is an alumna of the first ever artists’ residency organized by Akshara and the US consulate on women's empowerment. Kajol has performed widely at venues like IIT Bombay, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, BITS Pilani, Canvas Laugh Club and others. She does curated and corporate shows along with running her one-person company providing graphic design.
Abbas Momin is a freelance humour writer, which means he has no self respect and lives below the poverty line. He tried his hand at becoming a doctor (which is often believed to be the reason behind the dwindling fortunes of the medical fraternity) but was left with a lot of depression and low self-esteem, which made him realise he’s perfect to be a stand-up comedian. He has performed at renowned venues like The Canvas Laugh Club, Blue Frog and NCPA in Mumbai, and has been a part of the line up at the Weirdass Pajama Festival and the Masala Mayhem Comedy Festival in Hyderabad. He currently lives in Mumbai with his two laptops.
Dattaprasad Godbole is most certainly not a made-up comic name. We've been assured he exists. He has neither performed in Edinburgh Fringe Festival nor in Melbourne Comedy Festival. He barely performs in bed. He tells you to get lost if you ask him about the Carnegie Hall or Apollo. Brace yourself for the most OK comedian in the scene.
