Dayara Bugyal is a perfect Summer trek with gorgeous forests, beautiful camping, quaint villages, and thrilling climbs. Dayara Bugyal summer trek offers magnificent views of the Mt. Bandarpoonch, Mt Jaonli, Mt. Srikanth, Mt. Draupadi ka Danda, Gangotri mountains range, and pristine alpine meadows of Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand. You will be walking for long hours along the riveting trail of the mixed forests of maples, oak, pines, and rhododendron trees. The beauty of Dayara Bugyal is the magical landscape transformation in every season - in the summer, you will see yellow, white, and violet flowers throughout the meadows, while in autumn, the meadows turn golden brown. In winter, the meadows and forests are carpeted with powdery snow, which also makes it one of the best skiing destinations of Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 01: Rishikesh / Haridwar to Raithal Village Via Uttarkashi (195 Km by road – 8 hr + 800 Meter walk) Altitude 1805

After breakfast drive to Raithal village via Uttarkashi is one of the major towns of Uttarakhand. It’ll take another one and a half hour drive to reach Raithal.

Raithal to Upper Raithal is a short hike of just 1km which can be easily done in less than an hour. The well-marked trail begins from the terrace fields of the village and climbs up to the forest entry point. It is an ideal location to mark the beginning of the trek with unobstructed views of Mt. Shrikanth, Mt. Jaunli & Mt. Draupadi ka Danda. Dinner and overnight stay in guest house at Upper Raithal.

Day 02: Raithal Village to Dayara Bugyal via Goyi (7 Km by Trek – 5 Hr) Altitude 3408

After breakfast you will start trek towards Dayara Meadow via Gui campsite. Today's route is Gradual ascend through the beautiful landscape of laced Rhododendrons and a forest cover of Silver oaks & Deodar till we reach our campsite in Dayara. On the way to the campsite, you would be also seeing majestic mountain views and peaks like Mt. Jaonli, Mt. Srikantha, Mt. Gangotri and a lot more. You will also pass through the Gui Taal and the forest department concrete hut. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Dayara Bugyal campsite in tents.

Day 03: Dayara to Surya Top to Uchlaru Top to Dayara Bugyal (10 Km by Hike – 6 hr two side) altitude 400 Meters.

After breakfast, we start our day and trek to Surya top and further to Uchlaru Top which offer 360 degree view of Himalaya including Bandarpunch (6350 mtrs), Draupadi Ka Danda (6420 mtrs), Jaonli (6600 mtrs), Srikanth, Gangotri I,II,III and many other peaks. It is best day of our walk on the entire trek. Later trek back to Dayara Bugyal. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 04: Dayara Bugyal to Raithal Village

After breakfast trek back to Raithal village through a nice oak, Cedar and rhododendron forest and finally get to Raithal village. It is all pretty much downhill to the village. We can have nice hot water bucket bath once we reach in the guest house at upper Raithal. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.

Day 05: Raithal Village to Rishikesh

After Breakfast, we board our awaiting vehicle to drive us back to Rishikesh. Lunch on the way and Trip finishes at the arrival in Rishikesh
