ABOUT THE WALK
This walk invites you to experience Sanjay Van through its fascinating sounds, smells and sights – and by the light of a full moon. The walk begins at Qutub Institutional Area and then snakes its way through one corner of the forest as the trail takes you to the bird watching tower close to the JNU exit.
The walk began as part of “What’s happening in Sanjay Van?”, an art project that attempted to understand and uncover the reason for the decrepit state into which Sanjay Van has fallen. This urban forest in the heart of Delhi’s bustling metropolis is meant to be a celebration of the vitality that this forest is capable of sustaining against all odds – and not a life force that is struggling to survive.
