*About Devkund:-*

Devkund Waterfall is a virgin place with clear water. It is the s confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of Kundalika river. It is about a three-hour trek from base village along the dam backwater and through forest to reach this place known as ‘Devkund’. A major part of the trek goes through some semi-dried forests with the river running parallel and sometimes crisscrossing through the route.

This trek can be done by amateurs as well. The approximate length of the trek is 4.5km which includes a hike alongside the Bhira dam, patches of forest cover, a small water stream, and open fields. There is no big ascend throughout the trek excluding the last 10% which requires a 300ft approx. of gradual ascending to finally reach the waterfall.

11.00 Pm – Pick up from Kalanagar bus stop Bandra (Highway)

11.20 Pm – Pick up from Sion station Circle

11.35 Pm - Pick up from Diamond Garden, Chembur

11.50 Pm - Pick up from Vashi Plaza , Vashi

12.20 Am – Pick up from McDonald’s , Kalamboli

4.30 Am: - Reach Base Village, Freshen Up.

6.00 Am: - Breakfast

06.45 Am: - Introduction Round

07.00 Am: - Start Trek to Devkund

09.30 Am: - Reach Devkund Waterfall

10.30 Am: - Start the trek back to base Village

12.30 Pm: - Reach the Base Village, Take Some rest and have lunch

02.00 Pm: - Start the Return Journey to Mumbai

06.30 Pm: - Reach Mumbai (tentatively depends on traffic) and promise to meet again.

Things to Remember:-

Basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medical issues.

We don’t recommend participants to reach the base village with own vehicle as considering complicated route & respecting everyone’s time.

Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.

Trek Leader decision will be final & argument will be entertained.

Don’t except VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventures and free.

Covid Safety Guidelines

Kindly wear three-layered masks, N95. Carry an extra disposable mask with you. Please ensure all participants, leaders, staff, and general persons wear masks before interacting with them.

Cooperate for temperature checks, questions reading any symptoms, and oxygen level checks; these are done to help you limit the spread of the virus. All these checks will be conducted multiple times during the activities.

Kindly do not register for the event or travel if you have come in contact with someone who has Covid19 in the last 14 days.

Consuming any alcohol, cigarettes, pan masala, tobacco, drugs should be avoided; they induce a lot of spitting, urinating, and passive smoke, which can be harmful for the general population.

Avoid speaking with the general population and maintain distance to keep yourself safe in these difficult times.
