1. STAND UP COMEDY BY RAHUL SUBRAMANIAN

About the Artist:

Rahul Subramanian is a stand-up comedian and entertainer from Mumbai. He is the key contributor and creator of the comedy YouTube channel Random Chikibum. He is well-known for his comedy performances at gatherings like parties and clubs. Before deciding to pursue stand-up comedy full-time, Rahul Subramanian worked as a brand manager. Together with fellow comic Kumar Varun, he founded the YouTube channel Random Chikibum

2. MUSIC & DANCE CONTEMPORARY THEATRICAL: SUSTAIN BY MURTHOVIC X ANNAHITA X GOPIKA

About Project:

A contemporary theatrical. Sustain delves into the delicate relationship between humanity and the environment, through a contemporary narrative told through movement and melody. Sustain, which means both 'to support and also 'to endure damage', is a reminder of the abundance offered and sacrifice made by our home, earth. With depleting resources, polluted waters and other consequences of our earth taken for granted, Sustain explores the future of this home, whose continued existence depends on sustainable practices, alternate energy solutions, and most importantly, our proactiveness.

This collaborative storytelling invites audiences on a captivating journey that mirrors our collective pursuit of harmony in a rapidly changing world, highlighting the urgency of ecological conservation through the universal language of art.

About Artists:

Murthovic | A DJ, producer, sound practitioner and researcher, whose belief in hybrid systems of collaborations has taken his music through all realms including clubs, festivals, advertising, fashion, audio-visual dance theatricals and fantasy video games. Sri Rama Murthy aka Murthovic is an independent Electronic music composer, sound designer and dj who has been working in the electronic music field for the last 18 years. He acquired his basic compositional skills in Western Classical music from Hyderabad western music foundation and currently is learning Carnatic music, apart from dj gigs at various clubs and festivals across the country.

Anahita Chaliha | A Bharatanatyam dancer and contemporary artist, and an alumni of the esteemed Kalakshetra Foundation.She is also a model, actor, and a teacher, driven by cross-collaborations in contemporary movement arts.

Gopika Jairam | A Carnatic singer, composer, producer, writer and thespian, originally from Kochi. She also leads the Strategy and Creative Communications at a leading PR agency in the city.

3. IMMERSIVER ART EXHIBIT : OVERTURE BY BIGFAT X MYLES

About project:

‘Overture’ is a new and previously unseen audio-visual piece by visual artist BigFat and creative technologist Myles . It was first showcased at Mumbai Light Festival's Satellite Edition in December 2022. The 14-minute piece combines a sci-fi abstraction of flashing lights, geometric forms, organic topologies & textures which come together to create a dynamic & ever-evolving visual landscape. It is accompanied by an original soundtrack that further adds depth and emotional resonance to the visuals.

About Artists:

Aniruddh Mehta is a Mumbai-based designer and artist whose work ranges from traditional graphic design to digital and new media arts. He is the founder of Studio Bigfat, a multi-disciplinary design studio that works in areas such as graphic design, digital illustration, and motion design.

Myles is a music technologist, creative coder, and composer who puffs out custom software solutions regarding interactive art exhibits, visuals, and tools that allow musicians to express themselves artistically.

4. IMMERSIVE ART EXHIBIT: SYZYGY BY JOHNNY GANTA

About Project:

“SYZYGY” (a term used by Carl Jung to mean a union of opposites, e.g. anima and animus. And will also be the name of the show)

About Artist:

Anima by Johnny Ganta is a captivating digital triptych that delves into Enantiodromia, the Union of Opposites, and features in the BLOOM/DESIRE double EP by musician Johnny Kulo. Composed of three scenes - Poseidon, Candy, and Bloom - Anima portrays the Anima, the unconscious feminine aspect of the male psyche, in surreal and dreamlike worlds. Using

compositing, collage, and 2D/3D modeling techniques in Blender, Photoshop, and AfterEffects,

Ganta along with the artists Devi Pippara and Samriddhi Sondhi created a mesmerizing work of

digital art that adds texture and depth to the piece.

5. LIVE ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCES:

Artist collective 1: Aishwarya Suresh Bindra ft. Clinton D'Souza

Aishwarya Suresh Bindra rose to popularity for her unique voice and style after her

appearance on “The Stage - Season 3” which aired on Colors Infinity. Since then, she has

gained over 80k followers on Instagram and an avid viewership on YouTube as well. She

is also a prominent face in the Jordindian sketches and has worked with various brands like Bumble, Jockey, & Ola. Along with content creation and music, as of 2020, she started her own business called “The Bali Project” specializing in garden and home decor.

Artist 2: Gowri Bhat 

Gowri Bhat is a singer-songwriter from Bengaluru, who sings a plethora of genres. She has over 14 years of training in Carnatic Classical music and plays the guitar and piano. She has collaborated with MTV and artists such as Arjun Kanungo. Her singing style is influenced by her music education as well as folk, indie, R&B and pop.

6. MIXOLOGY WORKSHOP:

Led by an expert mixologist and Dewars Brand Ambassador, this workshop is set to offer an engaging experience for cocktail enthusiasts, providing hands-on training and guidance in crafting exquisite and innovative drinks. Participants explore the art of mixology, learning techniques and experimenting with a variety of flavors to create unique and tantalizing beverages.

About The Venue

Bangalore International Centre is a non-profit public institution located in the heart of Bengaluru. Founded as a democratic institution to enhance dialogue and foster ideas across cultures, and economies. It opened in January 2019.The location was a key aspect in the design of the landscape as were the ideals of public participation which was at the core of this democratic public space.
