In this session, we focus on expressing and telling our stories. How to use theatre as a medium for emancipation, social change, and liberation. Geared towards challenging societal norms, self-expression, and self-representation using tools of applied theatre, physical theatre techniques, and object & puppetry tools, we will explore theatre which is visual, vocal, and fearless.

About the facilitator:

Abhishek Thapar based out of Moga (IN)/Amsterdam (NL) works as an Independent theatre and performance maker, performer, teacher, and artist based in Amsterdam. His work unfolds at the intersection of contemporary theatre, social art practice and post-colonial epistemologies.
