About the Event

Move away from the buildings and towards the New Year surrounded by the openness of 100 acres of paddy fields fed by Hemavati River. Wedged between Coorg and Chikmanglur–Sakleshpur is permanently swathed in robes of emerald and jade. Surrounded on all sides by coffee plantations and waterfalls, it also is home to some of the richest wildlife in the Western Ghats.

Spend two days and two nights camping with your favourite people here; allow the expanse of the fields to overwhelm and humble you. The trail along the river and a coffee plantation, trek up to the top of sunset viewpoint, catch a waterfall and if you are lucky enough to witness it at the time––participate in paddy harvest. The fishing enthusiasts are recommended to carry their gear.

Our trusted Camplord Prithvi is an entrepreneur and is amongst the first few residents to open up Sakleshpur to camping. The grunge of the outdoors excites him -- so don’t forget to ask him about the adventures of off-roading through the waterfall of Sakleshpur while you are there. Prithvi and Campmonk have teamed their efforts along with their love for the outdoors to bring to you and your people a ‘wild’ New Year experience.

'Dial Down’ is a set of carefully curated New Year Camping experiences put together with some of our passionate Camplords and designed specifically to bring together a community of individuals, families and friends based on your need to be in the wild. From jungles, to the rivers, to the mountains, to the beach –we have something covered for all of you, with an assurance of the famous Campmonk experience in every single one of them.

**This is an indicative itinerary that is likely to vary slightly.

Free for children under 5yrs as per Campmonk’s child-friendly camping policy

This is a community gathering in a private property, nuisance will strictly not be tolerated and you might even be asked to leave the premises if the community feels unsafe or disturbed.

You are most welcome to enjoy your drink and keep the happiness to yourself and avoid disturbing others around you.

This is not a cheap, alternative to a place to get drunk. We are serious campers, we love nature and we appreciate if you share the same sentiment.

We are very particular on zero trace camping. Please carry a trash bag & carry all your garbage back with you.

Due to unavoidable circumstances (like rain or any natural calamity), if the function gets cancelled Campmonk or any other person associated with the same shall not be responsible for any claim or compensation.

Campmonk accepts no responsibility for injuries or the loss/theft of any personal property at the campsite

Registrations/Tickets can only be refunded if the request is initiated at least 10 days before event day. In which case the following refunds would apply

10 days before event: 100%

7 days before event: 75%

2 days before event: 50%

Last 48hrs: No refunds
