Kickstart this December with a peaceful evening watercolour workshop on our terrace. The session will demonstrate a few basic techniques of this wonderful medium. The facilitator will be touching upon: seeing in layers, getting the most out of colour, understanding how water affects paper, and so on. This will be followed by a session of sketching and painting objects set up in the space.

About the facilitator:

Rachana Devidayal completed her primary and secondary education at Bombay's Cathedral & John Connon School. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design; BFA (Hons) 1994, focusing on Graphic Design. With a strong interest in the print media, she has worked with mainstream publishing houses, international museums as well as private clients, on projects ranging from editorial design, logos, and CSR work. She has taught art to students ranging from the age of 4 to 20 years, and was an instructor for the foundation programme at ISDI, Mumbai.
