We will begin the next round of Drawing Circle on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 10 am IST. We will call this Drawing Circle: Photo Memories.

We will meet on zoom on alternate Sundays for 3 months. Each session will be for 2.5 to 3 hours. The sessions will be on—

November 6, 20 

December 4, 18 

Photos on our phones are placeholders of memories. How many photos do you have on your phone today? Do you scroll back and reflect on your observations? What did you take photos of? Did the way you see through your lens change how you perceive the world? How did this change reflect in your photos over time? Have you ever wondered how being able to instantly take photos can affect our memory? When we take photos, how much do we live in the moment? What do we gain and what do we miss out on? 

You may be an artist looking for ideas to explore, or you may not be an artist and are casually exploring your mind, soul and the world through art. Drawing Circle: Photo Memories is open to participants from all disciplines, ages and geographical locations.

Please note that drawing skills are not required to join Drawing Circle: Photo Memories. You may use any creative form/medium of expression to respond to the photos presented.

There are 15 seats on first-come, first-served basis.

There is a minimum contribution that we request from the participants. This contribution will help us sustain, and also support the artists and designers who make Drawing Circle possible.
