As bFLAT continues to celebrate its milestone 10th anniversary as an independent performance venue in Bangalore, it also continues to support independent, original music. This time bFLAT Indiranagar presents an evening of two acoustic bands that stand out as singer-songwriter based compositions.

Easy Wanderlings is an 8 piece band and Mahesh Raghunandan of a songwriter who plays guitar and is backed by a unique pianist , Rohan Kamath . Unique to both is superior songwriting that includes warm, smooth layering of harmonies and melodies, both instrumental and vocal, with great lyrics and assorted acoustic instruments. Sometimes poignant, sometimes uplifting, the music this evening promises to stir the soul.

With soul-pop band Easy Wanderlings the experience of listening to their music and vocal harmonies is like sinking into an easy chair or slipping into a warm bath - music you can lose yourself into.

Bangalore-based Mahesh Raghunandan's duo will perform the early set. Mahesh’s style of music has been compared to John Mayer and Damien Rice in a sort of Alt Rock/Folk genre, influenced by the blues. Mahesh is a very compelling performer - his superior song writing is filled with passion and raw emotion - strong melodies and deft guitar playing that tells its own stories, add to the sound of this band.

Easy Wanderlings is an independent soul-pop band, globally recognized for their delicate and soothing melodies. Warm vocals and haunting melodies make up the sound of this band. Listening to their music is like sinking into an easy chair or slipping into a warm bath - music you can lose yourself into, with it's soothing melodies and harmonies and acoustic layers.  You can call it a musical journal of cherished memories about soulful conversations, escapades into the majestic wilderness, and of feelings felt in the quiet comforts of home. 

As a touring band, they have performed extensively across diverse musical spaces be it inmate or major music festivals such as Bacardi NH7 Weekender and the VH1 Supersonic festival in 2018

Mahesh Raghunandan is a musician from Bangalore who is coming to be known as one of the best singer-songwriters in the country. Drawing influences from various styles of music, his songwriting and vocal abilities have been favourably compared to the likes of John Mayer, Damien Rice, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. Mahesh is also known for his involvement in multiple collaborative projects such

as the blues-rock band “Mahesh and the Mix” (now defunct) and the psychedelic act “Blushing Satellite” for which he’s currently the front-man. Known for his impassioned stage-persona and emotive performances, Mahesh continues to evolve his artistic identity and the music as he takes his steady and growing followers along with him. His first official studio EP titled “Accept” released on 19th October 2018 at the Jagriti Theatre, Whitefield.
