About the Event

A land of compelling culture and beauty, with an intrinsic cuisine, Black Swan Journeys invites you to eat your way through Vietnam.

Curated in collaboration with an avid traveller, food consultant and pop up chef Gayatri Desai, we bring to you a food trail that will tease your taste buds. This curated food trail taps the pulse of the local cuisine, helps you unravel some secret recipes and introduces you to the finest crafted beers. Check out the itinerary below for more details.

Hop on a bike or ride pillion through streets as you go on your treasure hunt for some of the best locally crafted beers. Relish the Bia Hoi beer, a daily brewed and consumed local beer. Cycle through the city to quench your beer thirst. Drink or watch the finest crafted beers as they go through brewing, distilling and the bottling process.

Hoi An culinary Class
Feel the local beat and the heat, as you go farm hopping to pick your own produce. Go back to the basics and learn the traditional ways of farming. Spend a day choosing the choicest local ingredients and cook some of the signature local dishes in Hoi An under the watchful eye of the experts.

Saigon After Dark
Take the saddle of a vintage Vespa scooter and enjoy the iconic sights of Ho Chi Min city. Let the handle-bar guide you on an adventure of the best food and drinks in the city. Enjoy the gastronomic tastings the city has to offer - some artisanal, some street food samplings - that provide you an all-inclusive food experience. Unwind at a Rock music bar and grove to some happening live music.

American War Legacy
A guided tour through the clever tunneling system of Cu Chi and the War Remnant Museum will provide insights into the carnage of the American war, but not through the 'star spangled' glasses. This tour shows the Vietnamese history from the viewpoint of the people of Vietnam

Ha Long Bay
Enjoy the sunset on the cruise that takes you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, and when there, try your hand at rolling your own rice paper rolls or go kayaking.
