Importanat COVID19 Updates from Assam Government

1. Air passengers travelling within Assam and those travelling between #NorthEast States will No Longer Require mandatory #COVID19 testing.

2. #COVID19 Rapid Antigen Test for incoming flight passengers from rest of the states will be done in Guwahati Airport itself.

3. Exemption from Quarantine - Latest Government Guidelines states that those arriving into Assam with a Negative COVID 19 Report of RT-PCR test done not more than 72 hours earlier will be exempted from Quarantine.

Pick up point for River Cruise Travel to the venue - Pobitora Village Eco Camp

LOCATION – Exotic Brahmaputra Riverine Island, Near Pobitora Village Eco Camp, Assam.

Distance – By Road - Approximately 70 Kms from LGBI Airport and 40 kms from Guwahati Railway Station, thereafter a river cruise of 15 minutes to reach the location.

EVENT DATE - 25th to 27th December 2020

ITINERARY PLAN –

DAY-1:

·        COVID-19 screening and Sanitisation of person and luggage to be conducted at the pick-up point. Travel to Venue via River Cruise as per given slots.

·        At the venue, Check-in and issuance of bands and Registration for Adventure Activities. Time slots to be allotted for activities, ensuring Social Distancing norms.

·        Evening - Acoustic Music by Local Artist followed by Barbecue, Dinner and Bonfire with Jam Session

Day-2:

·        Guided Meditation followed by Breakfast.

·        Adventure activities such as Hot Air Balloon etc. would be available throughout the day.

·        Lunch at the site.

·        Evening - Renowned DJs will be flying down to play some good EDM, followed by Barbecue, Dinner and Bonfire with Jam Session.

Day-3:

·        Guided Meditation followed by Breakfast & Goodbyes.

·        Drop back to the boatyard as per allocated time slots.

Ala Carte Food/Beverages/BBQ/ Certain Activities will be available on chargeable basis.

Terms & Conditions:

·        Free stay for children below 06 years of age for 01 child per couple.

·        Children between 6 to 12 years of age will be charged half ticket for 01 child per couple.

·        Outside Food & Beverages strictly not allowed.

·        Alcohol will be served as per Government Regulations.

·        Only Tent and Foam Mattress will be provided. 

·        For personal hygiene reason campers are advised to carry their own sleeping bags or bedsheet, blanket & pillows.

·        Masks to be worn, proper hygiene and social distancing to be maintained throughout.

·        Each individual is responsible for their own belongings & their actions.

·        Designated Parking area will be available; however, parking will be at owner’s risk.

·        Smoking not allowed in the camp area.

·        Damages to any event property, if any, will be borne by the respective individual.

·        Antisocial Behaviour of any nature will not be tolerated & organisers discretion will be final.

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY – As an event organiser, we have a duty of care towards not only our Campers and our Crew’s health and safety but also towards the Environment. Keeping it in mind, below mentioned measures would be taken for the event:

SAFETY:

i)                   Pandemic Specific: All tents will be sanitised. Frequent sanitisation of all public utility areas. All Campers will be subjected to Thermal scanning and sanitisation of self and luggage before check-in. Hand wash & Sanitiser Stations to be made readily accessible. Wearing of masks to be mandatory. Social distancing to be maintained as per set protocols.

ii)                 Fire Safety: Portable Fire extinguishers to be readily accessible.

iii)               First-Aid: First Aid Counter available round the clock.

iv)               Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan with corresponding signages.

SECURITY:

i)                   Usage of HHMD (Hand-held metal detector) scanning during check-in, for the campers and their luggage.

ii)                 Security Guards to man and patrol the campsite perimeter.

iii)               Accreditation of Crew and Visiting Artists.

iv)               All campers to be issued wrist bands during check-in to be worn throughout the event. LDA (Legal Drinking age) bands to be issued accordingly.

v)                 A Quick Reference Guide Leaflet to be issued to everyone, with itinerary and Campsite Map along with Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan pointers.

ENVIRONMENT:

i)                   Maximum usage of Sustainable Items such as leaf plates, bamboo straws, bio-degradable trash bags etc. to ensure we leave minimum carbon footprint.

ii)                 Segregation of Recyclable & Non-recyclable wastes.

iii)               Promote Reuse-Reduce-Recycle-Upcycle movement, by putting up awareness posters in various areas of the campsite. Subject to availability, we also intend to collaborate with artisans who create sustainable handicrafts through such or other sustainable raw materials by putting up their stall.
