Bacardi NH7 Weekender is back for its seventh year, and its even more special! Catch the happiest music festival in the abode of clouds, Shillong (Oct 21-22), in historic Hyderabad (Nov 5-6) where the festival takes place for the first time ever, and in Pune (Dec 2-4) where it all started. Watch out for amazing new artists, iconic favourites, specials and finds at the food and flea bazaar, art and installations, and take home a lifetime of memories!
One of the most anticipated music festivals in India, Bacardi NH7 Weekender is all about the music, the vibe and a true music festival experience.

One of the most eclectic and prolific artists of rock music, Steven Wilson his the man behind prog-rock band Porcupine Tree. Porcupine Tree explored psychedelia, progressive music, and his love of ambitious seventies music. When in 2010, Porcupine Tree went on a hiatus, Steven continued to compose solo works and has since then churned out five albums.
Sweden’s José González is just such a voice. He first charmed his way into the UK’s earshot via the murmurous and elegant, classically finger-picked folk pop of his 2005 album, Veneer. Two years later came In Our Nature. Since then, Jose has toured across the world, and also started his more fulsome, electronic-edged pop project Junip.
The Joy Formidable
The Joy Formidable released their debut album ‘The Big Roar’ after signing worldwide with Canvasback Music, a division of Atlantic Records. The band started their own label, created a studio, and recently released their third full-length album Hitch in March 2016, an evolutionary step forward from its predecessors The Big Roar (2011) & Wolf’s Law (2013).
No more than three producers (Dr. Dre, RZA, and Prince Paul) can test DJ Premier's status as the most important trackmaster of the '90s, and no style is more distinctive. Aggressive and raw, a Premier track was an instantly recognizable soundclash of battling loops and heavy scratching -- all of them perfectly timed -- that evoked the sound of Brooklyn better than anyone.
Shankar Mahadevan: My Country, My Music
Shankar Mahadevan is a singer, songwriter, performer, actor, and music entrepreneur. ‘My Country, My Music’ is Shankar’s brand new project - a presentation of Indian film music and its roots in Indian folk music. This project will showcase myriad flavours of India’s dynamic musical heritage by collaborating with artists who belong from different culturally rich parts of the country
One of the early proponents of the now-popular genre of Dubstep in India, Nucleya has built on that start to emerge as one of the most exciting, experimental and engaging producers in the Indian scene in the past five years. He has made his mark as an Indian dance music producer, focussing on sounds and textures that are Indian in nature but international in appeal.
Acclaimed sitar player Anoushka Shankar is a relentlessly experimental musician. Her recently released album, Lands of Gold, she is joined by numerous collaborators on this album as well, including rapper M.I.A., singer-songwriter Alev Lenz, and dancer Akram Khan
Papon, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and singer has become one of the most recognizable and sought after voices in India. His innovative experiments are rich with ambient electronica, acoustic folk, electro-ghazals to classical sounds
Skyharbor’s debut album ‘Blinding White Noise’ was released worldwide in 2012 to critical acclaim. Since then, Skyharbor have been performing regularly around the world and making waves with their distinctive brand of sweeping, ethereal prog-rock, fronted by a powerful and emotional storytelling vocal style.
RAC (DJ Set)
RAC used to stand for "Remix Artist Collective". These days it's the solo project of André Allen Anjos. RAC is primarily known for remixes (200+). Some notable examples include: Lady Ga Ga, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald, Kings Of Leon, Katy Perry, The Shins, Bloc Party, Chromeo, Lana Del Rey, Two Door Cinema Club and many many more.
Eagulls is a post punk quintet from Leeds comprising Mark Goldsworthy (guitar), Henry Ruddel (drums), Liam Matthews (guitar), Tom Kelly (bass), and George Mitchell (vocals). In 2014, they appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, performing their song 'Possessed' for Bill Murray. The band was also chosen as the main support for Franz Ferdinand's 2014 UK tour.
Abish + Kenny
Comedians Abish Mathew and Kenny Sebastian have been doing this for quite some time though. Their live shows always include some music that will leave you in splits. The start of our very own Flight of the Conchords? Why not, guys, why the hell not!
A post-rock band is rare to find in India. A Hindi post-rock band – rarer. aswekeepsearching tick both the boxes. The Ahmedabad-based four-piece band released itsdebut album last year to highly favourable reviews, and since then have toured extensively across India and Russia.
Commonly known by his stage name BK, Borkung Hrangkhawl is a freestyle rapper / singer-songwriter from Tripura. Apart from excellent musicians who accompany him for his live acts, even the subject matter that BK raps about is always socially relevant and hard hitting.
Divine (Gully Gang)
Vivian Fernandes, known popularly by his stage name Divine is an award-winning rapper and hip-hop artist from Mumbai, India. Born and brought up in the ‘gullies (streets)’ of Mumbai, Divine has come to be known as ‘the Voice of the Streets’ - narrating tales of the people that he's grown up observing
Earlier this year, Dosser’s Urge took everyone by surprise by their absolutely electric performance at Road to Converse Rubber Tracks finale. The band quite predictably won the contest and will soon be on their way to the U.S. to record in Brooklyn. Comprising three brothers, Dosser’s Urge is a mix of pop, blues, psychedelic and even punk.
Easy Wanderlings is just what the name suggests - wandering around aimlessly, soaking in the surroundings, and composing what you feel in that easygoing state of mind. It’s a musical journal about the times when simple conversations with people.
One of the most accomplished bands from the North East region, Imphal Talkies is a six-member folk rock band from Manipur, formed in 2008 by Akhu Chingangbam. The band is known for its political songs and representing minority communities in India through their music.
Kanchan Daniel & The Beards
Kanchan Daniel and the Beards is an upcoming blues rock band from Delhi. Their live shows are full of energy and their sound often dabbles in R&B, funk and psychedelic rock, apart from some good dose of heavy raw blues.
An independent project by Tarana Marwah, Komorebi is an intricate layering of harmonic melodies and synth beats. Komorebi surfaced about a year ago and has been getting attention for the right reasons. They were also one of the top five finalists this year for Road to Converse Rubber Tracks.
Mali, the stage name of singer songwriter Maalavika Manoj, has collaborated and performed with several prominent musicians including A.R. Rahman, Dualist Inquiry, Sapta and Sofia Ashraf to name a few.
Mosko comprises Kavya Trehan and Moses Koul and they weave rhythms that are a mash up of groove laden electronic and smooth acoustic jams. Deriving influences from topics and subjects as diverse as Manga and anime to tea, theatre and films, they also feel that their music comes with a sprinkling of ballroom waltz, emotional subversion and copious amounts of noir.
The a-capella ensemble NAFS create tight harmonies of eight blended voices with driving rhythms performing both well-loved film music, original tracks and classic a-capella repertoire. Drawing inspiration from international acts such as The Blue Man Group, Yomoto, and Manhattan Transfer, the aesthetic of the band includes futuristic costumes, blended identity, and blended voices.
Nicholson is a live electronic project based out of Mumbai, and is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Sohrab Nicholson and producer/drummer and multi-instrumentalist Rohan Ramanna. Their music is an amalgamation of jazz, folk, pop, electronic, soul, RnB and hip-hop.
Parekh + Singh
With Nischay Parekh on vocals, guitar, synths and Jivraj Singh on drums and electronics, Parekh + Singh came into existence in 2015. They create unabashed pop and have loads of fun while they’re at it - something that is quite evident in their live performances as well.
Rhythm Shaw is a young and talented western classical guitarist from India. Based out of Kolkata, Rhythm Shaw plays an amalgamation of rock, fusion, jazz, blues, and carnatic. He has also played alongside some of the best musicians in the country such as Louiz Banks and A. R. Rahman.
River is a trio founded by Abhilasha Sinha, Kamakshi Khanna and Tarana Marwah in 2014. They came together for their love of harmonies, songwriting and creating a distinctive sound that has depth, flows naturally, lingers and wanders through people’s minds.
Conceived by Marti Bharath in 2007, Sapta is a groundbreaking independent electronic music act that seamlessly blends influences from India and the West to produce an energetic and compelling live act. Already seven albums old, Sapta’s unique live setup features Tapass Naresh on drums and Marti on everything else.
Sempre Libera, one of KM Music Conservatory’s newest musical ensemblefrom Chennai, India. This group demonstrates ease in movement from western classical opera, musical theatre and even contemporary 'popera' music.
Shri Sriram is a Composer / Musician / Producer, initially trained on Tablas before developing a unique style of playing his self-made fretless bass. He was a key member of the Asian Underground scene with Outcaste Records, developing his groundbreaking electro-acoustic sound with Badmarsh&Shri.
Sid Vashi is a producer and multi-instrumentalist from the suburbs of Detroit, currently residing in Mumbai. Having grown up with a deep love for Bollywood music and jazz saxophone, Vashi crafts textural electronic pop music that incorporates elements of jazz, experimental electronica, and hip hop, often using samples from old Indian records and field recordings from around the country.
Kerela-based Thaikkudam Bridge, a 16-member band, was founded in 2013 by cousins Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon. The band is known for putting up high-energy, intense live performances and this will be their second outing at the festival.
The F16s is a Chennai-based upcoming electro-alternative band. Ask them to define their music and they’ll tell you that they play ‘alternative dance music borne out of frustration with a barren and flaccid cityscape.’ Well, we’ll go with that too.
The Ganesh Talkies
The Ganesh Talkies can be best described as the dance music cousin of Bollywood via Indian indie. The Ganesh Talkies blend alt-rock, reggae, ska and pop in a funky, twisted brew peppered with influences culled from cinema.
Underground Authority is one of the fewest rap-rock outfits in India. From gigging in clubs to being the finalists of India’s Got Talent Season 2, Underground Authority has had the taste of indie as well as the mainstream sides of the music industry. However, the band’s focus has always been about making music around subjects that they feel passionate about.
When Chai Met Toast
When Chai Met Toast takes inspiration from the lighter side of life to create music that is heartwarming and just straight up happy. The four-piece band has a special acoustic setup and unique brand of infectiously cheerful music which aims to transcend age, genre, and even language.

Wristbands for the designated dates will be issued at the box office during the festival.
These allow you to access all the stages. Please keep your wristband on for all days through sleep, showers and what may come. In case wristbands are taken off or misplaced, a replacement wristband will not be issued.
No refund on a purchased ticket and F&B coupons is possible, even in case of any rescheduling.
Children up to ten years of age can walk into the festival for free.
If you are under the age of 16, you need to be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times.
Rights of admission reserved, even to valid ticket holders.
Do not buy tickets from anyone except us or one of our authorised ticket outlets. We only issue wristbands at the box office and they are put on you by our staff. If anyone offers to sell you a wristband outside of the festival gates, you can be certain it is counterfeit.
Please remember to carry a valid government issued photo ID proof (Driver's license/ Aadhar/ Passport). You may not be permitted to enter in the absence of one.
No alcohol will be served to patrons under legal drinking age (LDA). Alcohol will only be served on display of a valid Government Issued ID proof. If you intend on drinking, we recommend you use public transport or assign a designated driver to drive you to and from the festival grounds. If you are underage, please don’t drink or we will be forced to ask you to leave the festival. Be cool, guys.

This ticket permits entry to the festival grounds only. Any pre or after parties may have other ticketing requirements and may be sold separately.

Please do not carry dangerous or potentially hazardous objects including but not limited to weapons, knives, guns, fireworks, lazer devices and bottles to the venue. We may have to eject these things, (with or without you) from the venue.
The sponsors/bands/organisers/management are not responsible for, including but not limited to, any injury or damage that may occur during or at the festival. Any claims that may arise due to gross negligence would be settled exclusively in the courts in Mumbai.
This festival uses amplified sound, as we are, you know, a kickass music festival. Earplugs and hearing protection at live concerts to reduce the risk of hearing damage is recommended, especially for children.
Strobe lighting at this event may trigger epileptic fits. Those with a history of epilepsy or any health condition that would be of concern must take adequate precautions.20. Consumption and possession of narcotics is strictly prohibited and those found possessing or consuming narcotics at the event will be immediately handed over to anti-narcotics police.
Carrying of liquids, alcohol, cigarettes and banned substances including outside food and beverages to the festival will not be permitted.
No liability or claims that may arise due to the consumption or intake of any food or drink or any other consumption will be entertained by the management.
Parking near or at the festival premises is at the risk of the vehicle owner.
You shall not use or display within the venue any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials unless authorised by written confirmation from OML Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
The holder of this ticket grants organisers the right to use, in perpetuity, all or any part of the recording of any video or still footage made of the holder's appearance on any channel or magazine for broadcast in any and all media globally and for advertising, publicity and promotions relating hereto without any further approval of yours.
Areas at the festival are built to capacity. Management reserves the right to hold entry to certain areas within the festival to ensure a safe festival experience.
The management reserves the exclusive right without refund or other recourse, to refuse admission to anyone who is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions including, if necessary, ejecting the holder/s of the ticket from the venue after they have entered the ground.
