About the Event
Join these four stand-up comedians, as they take the stage and make you laugh with their jokes and sketches. The comedians for the night are:
Biswa Kalyan Rath
Biswa’s style of comedy can be best described as angry rants bordering on what's socially acceptable. Biswa is a philosopher, a self-proclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, actor, size-zero enthusiast, blogger and an ex-IT professional.
Zakir Khan
Zakir khan is one of the the brightest comedians in the country and was the winner of Comedy Central's hunt for Best Stand-Up Comic of India and Foster's Lol Evenings. A writer by profession, this 'Confused Desi' serves his take on modern India, with a hard to resist rustic humour that'll have you nodding your heads and clapping as you’ll relate to everything he says.
Azeem Banatwalla
Master of puns, Azeem is an engineer-turned-writer-turned comedian, who has extensive experience writing for print and digital media, having worked with National Geographic Traveller India and The Man Magazine. A certified geek, Azeem has written humour and tech columns for the Deccan Chronicle, TechTree.com and Indian Video Gamer.
Atul Khatri
Atul Khatri is a 40+ guy. We're talking about his age, not IQ. A Mumbai-based businessman who realised too late that he wanted to do stand-up comedy. He is from a decent double-income, two kids and strictly-no-sex family. He was one of the 3 finalists in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival contest which was recently held in Delhi.

Artist

Remember the Pretentious Movie Reviews on YouTube? Good. Now forget them. That was just a warm-up to comic Biswa Kalyan Rath’s full comedy prowess. The comedian has moved up a few notches since his YouTube glory days and is using his IIT-Kharagpur education, along with his knowledge of mathematics, language and life, to make jokes that have never been cracked before. He recently released his comedy special, Biswa Mast Aadmi, to rave reviews, with which he toured every pocket in India. Soon after, he released 'Laakhon Mein Ek', a surprisingly dark web-series on the IIT coaching industry. One of the most-followed comedians in the country, Biswa’s angry rant-styled delivery and his unique perspective turns every topic he touches into comedy gold, making audiences crack up instantly. The stand-up comedian, writer, actor, size-zero enthusiast and blogger, has done countless shows across all sorts of venues in the country and has managed to garner 14+ million views on YouTube. Currently, Biswa is part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation! Need we say more?

Zakir Khan is one of the the brightest comedians in the country, as proven by the massive success of his recent Haq Se Single tour, and the Amazon Prime special of the same name. Zakir created waves in 2016 with his appearance on AIB Diwas, as he swiftly went on to become what AIB founder Tanmay Bhat described as “The biggest stand-up comedy act in India. Period”. A writer by profession, this 'Confused Desi' serves his take on modern India, with a hard-to-resist style of humour that'll have you nodding your heads and clapping as you relate to everything he says. His work includes comedy specials like Kaksha Gyarvi; an acclaimed Amazon Prime series, Chacha Vidhayak Hai Hamare and a podcast, ‘Umeed’. Zakir is indeed a unique act, and it's easy to see why.
