There’s hardly anything that hasn’t been said about this heaven. With all the fluttering prayer flags, warm people, snowy mountains, winding rivers, stark deserts and lust green meadows, Ladakh is home to all our being.
So we invite and dare you to go ahead and explore Ladakh and fall in love with the place, like all of us have. Itinerary:
June 2: Dip into the LOC History
· Have a perfect Ladakhi shuruvaat as you cross Zojilla Pass to reach the first district in Ladakh, Kargil. Stop at the Kargil War Memorial to dip into Indo-Pak history and enjoy momos at their in-house cafe. Stay at Mulbeck.
· We’ll start early in the morning on the July 2. For convenience, you might have to reach Srinagar a day early. We’ll assist you with all the stay, food and exploration options out there, if required.
June 3: Julley Leh!
· Wake up to the perfect view of mountainsides in Mulbeck. There’s a lot to be seen on the way, as you traverse across various high passes. Visit the Maitreya Buddha statue, Namik La, Alchi Monastry and the Lamayuru Monastry. It is the most scenic route that is there.
· Reach Leh. Greet the mountains. Rest in your abode.
June 4: Leh City Exploration
· Get to know the army at Leh Hall of Fame, witness royalty at Leh Palace and see the magic unfold in the evening at Shaanti Stupa.
· Indulge in good food in the markets of Leh. Small cafes serve the most delicious Thukpa.
June 5: To the last village of India- Turtuk
· We begin our journey towards the Indo-Pak border for a village named Turtuk. Drive through the highest motorable pass in the world, KhardungLa.
· Turtuk is the last accessible village of North India before LOC. Enjoy the chatter of shy kids, long walks in green fields to the village monastery, ancient stories embedded in stone scriptures, and some brilliant Balti Cuisine. The village is a small climb uphill.
· If luck is on your side, you can also see Mt. K2.
June 6: Sandunes, camel rides and Nubra Valley
· The day calls for some chai and village exploration. By afternoon, bid goodbye and visit Hunder Sand Dunes in the evening on the way. The sights of Nubra Valley will surely win over your heart.
· Stay at a guest house in Hunder that offers a panoramic view of the desert.
June 7: Back to Leh
· Bid goodbye to the sandunes and set on road for Leh. Visit the largest monastery in Nubra Valley, Diksit Gompa. The 32 mt. statue of Maitreya Buddha invites you from faraway.
· On reaching Leh, let the day unwind as you stroll around the streets of Leh Market in the evening, waving and smiling at the locals.
June 8: The Mighty Zanskar Rapids
· Raft along the waters of ice-cold Zanskar, as your hands freeze to paddle ahead for 12 km. We dare you to jump in the water for a nice swim. We did it.
· On your way back visit Gurudwara Langar Sahib for some delicious langar ka khaana.
June 9: The day of the mystical lake, Pangong
· Pangong Tso, Tibetan for “long, narrow, enchanted lake” sits true to its name and beauty. Stretching 140 km long across the Indo-China Border, Pangong will enchant you with its beauty.
· Spend the night in tents at the Campsite facing the lake.
June 9: Return to Leh, Souvenir Shopping
· Enjoy your last day in this heaven by walking down the Leh City Market, eating some traditional Ladakhi food and bidding goodbye.
June 11: Farewell
· Bid goodbye to this heaven that’s been our home for the last 10 days.

We will provide a list of delicious eateries around and we are sure, you are going to thank us for that.
Getting to Srinagar
Via Air: There are frequent flights from Mumbai, Delhi and other cities to Srinagar Airport. This is the easiest way to reach the capital. [Favorable for convenience]
Via Rail: Our troops would be travelling via trains from Mumbai to Jammu and then heading via shared cabs from Jammu to Srinagar. If you are adventurous and like traveling within a budget, then we definitely suggest this. Jammu Tawi is the closest railways station there is.
