Boomarang: One of the funkiest bands hailing from the hills of Mizoram, Boomarang like to call their music Junk rock- a blend of Jazz, Funk and Punk. Born in the winters of 2005, this 5 piece act has gone through almost everything from winning national awards to international festivals and being listed as Ten New Indian Acts to watch out for by the Rolling Stone Magazine. The solemn flow of their music is triggered by two soulful Lushai six-string executioners blended with a thundering & groovy down-tone from the man behind the low notes. A drummer who is a maniac- dynamic battering ram with Rockefeller stellar like enigma perseverance- illuminating from the actively dreaded front man. Truly, a blizzard act to reckon with.

The sound of the band is a vile blend of heavy, doom and death metal- which the band likes to call 'Stone Age Metal".
