The Humming Tree invites all budding producers in Bangalore for an exciting musical session, where they will get some serious tips on how to 'make it' by existing artists, plus a chance make music and show off their skills! End your day by watching the three acts perform live. Here's the schedule:

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Registration

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Self Management 101 with Sandunes, who'll take you through the process of creating a 'brand' in the big, bad indie world.

4:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Beatroulette

A super fun activity where attending producers (this means YOU) are seated in circles of 10 people (max) around one machine hooked up to the PA. This machine will also be connected to various midi controllers, synthesizers, microphones and various live instruments (whatever is at hand). Each producer will get a 16 bar loop in which to utilise any one of these things to create a musical part.

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Mash!

All the producers will be asked to pick chits from a jar. Each of these chits will have the name of a sample from a pre-prepared sample bank - anything from rain sounds to vocal acapellas and drum breaks. The producers will then have 45 minutes in which to turn these into a tune.

The two best from these will then be selected by a special jury and further developed with the help of Lowlit's own production talent. Following this, the completed tracks will be mastered by Keshav Dhar, the mastering engineer for #BetterLate Vol.1, one of the best ears in the business. If that's not enough, these will be showcased on the Lowlit Soundcloud page under a new playlist called Mash!

11:00 PM - 12:00 AM: Sandunes

12:00 AM - Closing: Frame/Frame
