Every third Thursday of every month, The Humming Tree is proud to present tributes to the most legendary bands in the history of Rock 'n' Roll, Hip Hop, Punk, Grunge and the like. The idea is to spend an evening celebrating music that underlines your favourite memories growing up, songs that are still on your playlist. And of course, a cold beverage to go with it all. Put on that old fan T-shirt you love so much, and come on down for an old fashioned.

For the first edition, Ananth Menon & Friends will play a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Creedence Clearwater Revival, often informally abbreviated to Creedence or CCR, was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother and rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford. Their musical style encompassed roots rock, swamp rock, and blues rock. Despite their San Francisco Bay Area origins, they played in a Southern rock style, with lyrics about bayous, catfish, the Mississippi River, and other popular elements of Southern United States iconography, as well as political and socially-conscious lyrics about topics including the Vietnam War. The band performed at 1969's famed Woodstock Festival.
