Barot is a tiny village situated in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The road to Barot is scenic and offers views of terraced fields and dense cedar forest. The village also forms the gateway to the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to varieties of animals such as Monal, Black Bear, Ghoral, etc.

A serene picturesque Valley in Himachal Pradesh which usually goes unnoticed because of the newly constructed tunnel which guides people to Kullu and Manali. Making Tirthan and Banjar Valley a perfect extended weekend getaway for Wravelers looking to stay away from hustle bustle of overcrowded tourist destinations.

The mountains surrounding Jibhi are lush with pine and cedar forests and it is also just one hour away from the highway connecting Manali and Chandigarh. A short drive from picturesque Jalori Pass, Jibhi is a good base for hiking, birding, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Itinerary

Day 0

Meeting with group in Delhi and leave for Barot

Leave late evening by 8 pm from Akshardham Metro Station.

After the initial Introduction with the group, we start our journey to Barot

Day 1

Reach Barot and local exploration

Wake up in the mountains. Barot is around 500 kms from Delhi, we should reach there by 10:00 AM. Tea and Breakfast on arrival. Check-in in your rooms and relax a bit. After lunch, we take a stroll to the river, spend some leisure time by the riverside. Evenings will be cold, so get back to the hotel by Sunset. Bonfire with veg snacks in the evening.

Dinner, a session of dumb charades or Lotto or any other planned activity.

Day 2

Barot to Jibhi. Stroll to the riverside

After breakfast, we start our journey from Barot to Jibhi in the Great Himalayan National Park.

Have lunch at the property. Relax for a while, later in the afternoon we go to the riverside and spend some leisure time.

Much needed bonfire with tea and evening snacks.

Dinner and Stay at Jibhi

Day 3

Jalori Pass and Sirolsar Lake trek and return to Property for Music and Bonfire

After breakfast, we move towards Jalori pass,altitude 3120 mts. Trek to Sirolsar Lake which starts from Jalori Pass through a thickly narrow path. Enjoy the occasional view of meadows beyond the thick curtain of the forests. It is a moderate trek which will be covered in snow during that time. Total trek duration should be 5 to 6 hrs depending on the weather conditions on the given day.

Depending on the time, while returning we visit the Jibhi waterfall. Later return to Property

Bonfire + party at the property. Followed by dinner and stay at Jibhi

Day 4

Breakfast and Departure from Tirthan Valley

Today is the last day of the tour. 

No one wants to return to return to Delhi, so we start late from the Property. Have breakfast and spend the last few hrs at the property.

We start our return journey to Delhi.

Reach Delhi early morning next day.End of Tour
