Introduction : The folk art styles have their own distinctive patterns and motifs that define the culture they have been inspired from. It is amazing to see how the history and stories have been incorporated in art. The traditional folk art styles speak of the legacy of the ancient stories that have been an important part of the art world. This will be a combination of beginner and intermediate level workshop. Learn the folk art styles of Madhubani, Kalamkari, Lippan, Warli and Gond in the weekend workshops with BAFA.

Things you will require during the course:

Laptop / Desktop / Phone / Tablet access along with good internet connection.

Basic Materials - Drawing Sheets, Colorful Chart Papers, Pens (Ball Pen, Gel Pen, Colorful Pen) and Pencils along with Eraser and Sharpeners.

For Gond:

A brief introduction and history of the art style.

The usage of patterns and motifs in Gond Art Form.

We will practise smaller designs of using the techniques of the art style.

Create a composition using the motifs, designs and unique patterns.

For Warli:

The usage of patterns and motifs in Warli Art Form.

We will practise smaller designs of using the techniques of the art style.
