Balanced precariously on the tipping point, they might just be able to save one another if they can only overcome their urge to self-destruct.

Painful yet playful, poignant but uplifting, this play takes a long hard look at the extremes of everyday life. Questions of identity, heartbreak and hope are explored with vivid, poetic intensity.

Artist bios:

FAEZEH JALALI

Faezeh is an actor skilled in metaphors and abstractions. Her MFA and BA performance degrees might also be metaphorical from imagined universities like the one in Knoxville Tennessee and Beloit Wisconsin. She also teleports to the south of India, occasionally to acquire a diploma in something called kalaripayatu from a place called Kalarigram.

You may have seen her magically appear on your TV screens as she also lives in the digital world.

SHEENA KHALID

Sheena Khalid is a theatre director, storyteller, writer and actor based in Mumbai. She is a founding member of the theatre company, Patchworks Ensemble. She has trained in Physical Theatre at the London International School of Performing Arts. At LISPA she was a scholarship student for the Advanced Course.

With Patchworks Ensemble she has directed – Ila, Gentlemen’s Club and Shikaar.

On a personal note, Sheena Khalid continues to deepen her exploration into performances and stories about and by women. She strives to create content that is relevant, engaging and humorous.

SUKHITA AIYAR

Drama is Magic. Sukhita Aiyar discovered this in school, in Std. 6. She set off to explore this brave new world, stage-managing, acting, directing, teaching, applying the magic to the mundane as much as she could. She worked with a number of amateur theatre groups in Bangalore for over 15 years, helped launch Jagriti in Whitefield, and collaborated on multiple Theatre Science projects for the Welcome Trust. Moving to Mumbai brought acting stints in ads, cameos in films and web series, but her heart will always belong to the power of text on stage, and off it.

ARGHYA LAHIRI

Arghya Lahiri has worked in the theatre for over twenty years, in every capacity he can get away with. He is a founder member of QTP, Mumbai. His directorial credits include: The Accidental Death of an Anarchist, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, The Birthday Party, Fireface (with Pushan Kripalani), Crab (part of Writer’s Bloc II), a reading of Ramu Ramanathan’s The Three Ladies of Ibsen, Creado, Constance, part of One on One, Hayavadana (with Pushan Kripalani), Wildtrack, which he also wrote, and Iron. He is also a lighting designer, writer and filmmaker.

SPRIHA NAKHARE

Spriha Nakhare started her theatre journey a year after her graduation with QTP. She went on to work in the capacity of a stage manager on Wildtrack and Mother Courage and Her Children, both produced by the company. She also worked on a range of other projects that the company has managed and, as one of the festival managers, ran the Thespo - Youth Theatre Movement in 2015 and 2016.

As a freelance Stage Manager she was a part of Disney’s Aladdin the musical produced by Bookmyshow and Aadyam’s #Sing India Sing (2018-2019). She also freelanced as a Production Manager for Aadyam’s A Few Good Men and a Stage/Show caller for NCPA’s Mirror Crack’d (2019-2020).

She branched out as an art assistant for a Web series and as a production manager for a documentary-feature film. She dabbles with graphic design and video editing for various projects.
