InfoAnalytica presents Fangirl Live

Gujarat’s most #khatarnaak indie festival will be seeing 20+ artists 9 concerts hosted across 6 cities in Gujarat - Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, Gandhinagar, Rajkot and Vidyanagar.

The voice of Fangirl is that of an excited friend who can’t help but shout in your ears about this cool new band they just discovered. We were amazed by how little bands from the subcontinent making great music were talked about. Fangirl is an attempt to bridge this gap and make discovering Indian bands easier, and more importantly - enjoyable.

Garma Garam house concerts is a freshly brewed series of intimate concerts showcasing the freshest handpicked indie acts from the country, unorthodox venues and unprecedented gig watching experiences. All concerts in the series will see Nikunj Patel (Moebius) do his magic with stage visuals.

The Surat chapter will have Tejas Menon, Aarifah Rebello and Aayushi Karnik perform their stellar sets at a super cozy farmhouse in Hazira, Surat.

A part of the proceeds will go towards education of underprivileged children, enabled by Pathshala NGO.

Tejas Menon: Tejas is a singer-songwriter from planet earth. His music is simple acoustic pop rock and writes about the people and events that influence and shape his life. He has played at a variety of venues across India and events including the Bandstand Revival Mumbai, ‘Live from the Console’, Ragasthan Music Festival, the Vans New Wave Festival, NH7 Weekender Pune and Delhi, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, India Bike Week and Mahindra Blues Festival.

Aarifah Rebello: Aarifah Rebello has just entered the world of independent music.

Armed with a handful of heartfelt songs and her refreshingly earnest approach to live performance, Aarifah wins over any audience who can appreciate good, honest songwriting.

Aayushi Karnik: Karnik, a blues/jazz prodigy hailing from Surat, picked up the guitar at the age of 12 and remembers all night practice sessions all through her growing up years. Says Karnik, “As far as I remember, I have spent most of my time playing the guitar. I’m always listening to music, like when I’m riding my bike and stuff, I always have my earphones plugged on.” A self-taught guitarist, who turned to YouTube videos and books, Karnik has picked up most of her techniques by ear.

Fangirl Live is presented by infoAnalytica, Inc. who will be supporting it in more ways than one. The ethos of the two entities is very similar - to always bring in something fresh to the table, to support and promote honesty in the work we do, to be part of the solution and not be deterred by the problem and most importantly - to disrupt the way things work around us.
