Gir Lion Safari 2018
Gir National Park is the last remaining bastion of the Asiatic lion. It also has the highest population of leopards compared to any other national park in India, making it one of the best place in India to see the big cats.
The Kameshwar Dam in middle of the sanctuary is home to a record population of marsh crocodiles. Other wild life includes chital (spotted dear), nilgai (blue bull), wild boar, sambar, jackals, hyenas, etc. Gir National Park has over 300 different varieties of birds. The unique ecosystem of Gir harbors about 38 species of mammals, around 37 species of reptiles & more than 2000 species of insects.

Board the train from Bandra Terminus at 05:35 PM and reach Rajkot Railway Station on the next day at 07:27 AM (dinner provided on board).
DAY 2 - 26th October 2018 : Friday
Reach Rajkot by 07:30 AM and proceed towards the property check-in- freshen up, after introduction session on Gir, have lunch and leave for jungle safari. By evening, return back to the camps and post-dinner, campfire and enjoy special South African tribal dance by African tribes who stay in Sasan Village from the past 300 years.
DAY 3 - 27th October 2018 : Saturday
Early morning, leave for open gypsy jungle safari at Gir National Park (06:00 AM to 09:00 AM. Post safari, return back to camps - have your breakfast and post lunch, leave for second jungle safari. By evening, return back to camps. (breakfast/lunch/dinner)
DAY 4 - 28 October 2018 : Sunday
After breakfast, leave for Rajkot Railway Station - have your lunch on the way and board train at 03:20 PM & reach Bandra Terminus next day at 05:40 AM (dinner provided on board).
