Warli paintings from Maharashtra and Gond paintings from Madhya Pradesh are known and appreciated for their distinct styles not just in India but even beyond. While one is about the simplicity and attractive depiction of the routine life of Warli tribes, the other is a colorful expression of nature, especially trees and animals, through patterns and traditional motifs.
Join The Circular Square’s Warli & Gond art online workshop to learn these art styles in simple ways, and create your own handmade products such as book marks/greeting cards, using them. Also get access to references for further practice and use.
