GREASE! is a celebration of all things grunge-y and heavy in a one-of-a -kind night

featuring three amazing acts performing live at Fandom – Grey Shack from Chennai, Fish in the Sink from Bangalore/Kochi and the amazing Ragini Ramanathan from Bangalore.

Ragini Ramanathan is a Bengaluru based electro pop singer-songwriter, bassist and producer. She started her musical journey by performing with Thermal and a Quarter as their backing singer. She went on to perform with other stellar Bangalore musicians and then started her own band, Opposite Sex as their lead singer-songwriter and bassie. They performed at many notable venues and festivals and released an EP as well. She has now started her journey as a solo artist, released her debut EP, The Bubble Lift Hotel and will be performing an acoustic rendition of her tracks. She will be accompanied by lead singer and guitarist of Neon Radar, Pradip Ramanathan on acoustic guitar.

Fish in the Sink, conceived in 2015 by four Chennai/Kochi-based musicians immersed in the grunge ethos and progressive rock complexity, has transformed from basement rockers into a unified force.

Influenced by grief-struck, howling guitars, the band navigates musical plateaus with ease. Evolving from a ‘for-the-love-of-music’ mindset, they now deliver a genuine and intelligent brand of rock, seamlessly blending sophistication with a carefree, neon-drenched, Saturday night drive aesthetic.

Grey Shack is a rock band. There’s no other way to describe the kind of music they play. They’ve got drums, bass, guitars and four voices. The band cut its teeth playing the competition circuit back in ‘07. Over the years, the band has recorded and released two full length albums, two singles, and is in the process of finishing a third album. Their music is fun, with some tongue-in-cheek social commentary, and it’s loud!
