About the Event
A guided tour of Indian and International dolls, figurines and masks.
For Ages : 8-13
Duration : 1.5 hours

What will you learn ?
● see a wide range of dolls, masks, figurines from remote regions of India
● appreciate and understand the historical, cultural, social and geographical significance of diverse craft forms from different states of India
● learn about unique local customs, tradition and practices
● explanation of the techniques used by artisans
● get an opportunity to hear stories and folk tales about dolls and figurines from Iran, Ukraine, Indonesia, Bhutan, Guatemala, Romania and other countries
● learn about local attire and textiles
● learn to start and build your own collection of crafts and precious memorabilia
● learn to document and journal facts and observations regarding culture, tradition and heritage.

a) The session will start at 11am sharp and end at 12:30 pm. Participants are advised to reach the venue by 10.45am
b) Each child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The parent/ guardian must wait in the waiting area while the session is in progress
c) Children may leave their phones with the parents / guardians in the waiting area
d) Photography and recording strictly prohibited
e) Eatables and beverages not allowed in the presentation area
f) The exhibits are rare, fragile and valuable.The participants must refrain from touching the same. In case of non - adherence we will be forced to ask the respective participant to leave
g) The session is structured such that the guided tour will last for 60 minutes followed by Q and A for 30 Mins
h) The tour will be conducted in English
i) No cancellation allowed.
